Parameter descriptions

  • username is the person's username on the Wiki. Required.
  • communityid is either a self-set ID or pre-set profile ID link (xxxxxxxxxxxxx). If it's the former, specify type to id, if the latter, specify profiles or leave blank. Required.
  • type is explained above. Required if it is id.
  • steamname is the user's visible Steam name. Required.
  • date is the date of acquisiton of the hat, in the format yyyy-mm-dd (2010-11-04 for 4th of November, 2010). Required.
  • serial is the serial number of the hat in question. It can be found on the user's backpack page on the Steam Inventory. Drag and drop the item into your URL bar, and the serial will be the last few numbers at the end. This field is not possible to fill out if the user's backpack is set to private, in which case leave it blank, and the software will note that the backpack is private.
