Features

Competitive News

Community Fortress features recent news updates and stories written by Community Fortress writers. This includes everything from announcements of upcoming shoutcasts of competitive TF2 league matches to short guides about TF2 gameplay.

Videos and Demos

The Videos section of Community Fortress lists movies made by the TF2 community as well as various CommFT video series. Video series include the Top 10 Plays of the Month and Moments of Glory which are short videos showcasing outstanding feats performed by competitive players.

The site also features a Demos section, where users can download clips of players' games and watch them for information or strategy.

Forum

The website's forums are designed as both a resource for players who wish to enter the competitive TF2 scene, as well as an information source for current players. On the forums, users can discuss Team Fortress 2, competitive play, or seek out a team to play on.

Community Fortress's forum is also home to their Mentor Program. Players that are new to the competitive style of TF2 can seek advice and assistance from more knowledgeable "mentors" about competitive Team Fortress 2.

Competitive Wiki

The site also features a link to the Community Fortress Competitive TF2 Wiki. This Wiki features information about classes, maps, and strategies, with an emphasis on how each of these things affect competitive games.

Highlander Tournament

The first Community Fortress highlander tournament was announced on March 18th 2011. The registration thread can be found on the CommFT highlander forums. Registration for this event closed on April 16th 2011.

The tournament was split into two geographical conferences with each conference played out in a double elimination bracket, one for North America and one for Europe.
