Talk:Ali Baba's Wee Booties
From Team Fortress Wiki
≠== Which slot? == I think its a little too soon to designate the Wee Booties as Secondary, and especially since they are both apart of a pack suggest it could replace the primary Grenade Launcher maybe it would be best to list as unknown since there is no precedent-BossRoss
- Judging by the Gunboats, which are secondary, I would assume that the booties are Secondary aswell. Makes sense considering the Chargin' Targe is primary (replacing the sticky launcher). Wingless 00:16, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- But that would mean that that the the Demo would have no weapons, aside from melee. Seems off to me. ShadowGlove 00:28, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- Well they only affect melee weapons, so I guess they're really just meant for Medieval Mode anyway. Maybe there'll be a new medieval map in this update! --Cooper Kid (Blether · Contreebs) 00:29, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- I'm pretty sure this thing is going to let you charge too.CidTheNinja 00:33, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- I have some information I'd like to add to the trivia section of Ali Baba's Wee Booties, why can't I do that?≠Dedemaru

Exploit reference
It can still be performed with controllers, is this written in past tense to make sure not to alert anyone? There is also a script that can still be used. ~eps 14:31, 22 June 2011 (UTC)
- I agree, it still works. This should definatly be corrected.MEDUNN 13:18, 26 June 2011 (PDT)
Medieval Mode impact
I generally don't doubt Valve about their updates because hey, it's their game and they do a lot of work to get things balanced. With That said, it seems to me that the new demo weapons are going to supercharge demos in medieval mode, when they already weren't lacking in power. A demo using this stuff has as much hp as a soldier, builds charge twice as fast and has double the control over it. And if he aborts his charge at any time, he's dealing a lot more damage just for running into people. Or they could use the shoes to offset the hp loss of the eyelander, making it a no-risk power-up when they get even one kill. For a melee-only gamemode, I'm waiting to see how much this actually affects my fear of demos when I have to fight them. Your thoughts? The Eco(nom)y Sucks 10:41, 23 June 2011 (PDT)
Currently, neither item can be used in medivial mode. only the persuader is usable so far. Thunder9092 14:29, 25 June 2011 (PDT)
Looks like they made 'em usable in MM today, I'll try it out soon. The Eco(nom)y Sucks 19:04, 27 June 2011 (PDT)
- Imo, Medieval mode is a joke that doesn't warrant the balancing attention given to competitive modes. The melee & bows limit makes certain classes and weapons much more effective, and this is fine.. If you really get pissed off that demoknights are even better with this set, just remember that MM is a silly game type to begin with, and is better for variety and blowing off steam than for serious competition. Styles
This item has four styles. I'd take the images except I've not been able to set up HLMV on this computer correctly. -- Pilk (talk) 22:03, 25 June 2011 (PDT)
- Does it? I can't select any on mine. I thought only hats and misc items could have styles. Are you quite sure? --Cooper Kid (Blether · Contreebs) 14:57, 26 June 2011 (PDT)
ABWB + Eyelander = WUT?
Alright, considering that the Booties can get rid of the negative max-health-related attributes of certain Demo swords, would anyone care to add what the Demoman's maximum health would be at different levels of heads with the Eyelander? I know that each head adds 15 max health per decapitation and that an overheal is equivalent to a player's health being up to 150% above their max HP, but with the mess of coding that comes with editing a page, I can't make heads or tails of where to add the data. - All the numbers are in the demoman's health section, but considering theres no health chart for the eyelander or its reskins, I wouldnt put it in here Dr. Blutengott 18:49, 25 July 2011 (PDT)
- 0 Heads- 175 (260)
- 1 Head - 190 (285)
- 2 Heads- 205 (305)
- 3 Heads- 220 (330)
- 4+ Heads-235 (355)
- Hope this helps. --SpaceAnimator 08:34, 29 August 2011 (PDT)
