- Good day to you my hated friend! --CruelCow 13:49, 8 July 2010 (UTC)

Templates
You need to ask Smashman that one or one of the other beurocrats--Markd 14:47, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
- ahh sorry my bad for userboxes just go ahead there is a page to share them on as well User_info_boxes--Markd 14:49, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
- If you would like to make your own userboxes, create a template in your own userspace. For example, for the one you just made, go to User:CruelCow/Template:User Third-person and create the page with the userbox. Then, on your page, use {{User:CruelCow/Template:User Third-person}} where you want it to go. This keeps your userpage uncluttered and lets other users use it too! There is more info here Thanks! --Firestorm 19:41, 8 July 2010 (UTC)
Horseless Headless Horsemann's Headtaker Demonstration Video
Why you delete the video? It's also show how to craft it...--The preceding unsigned comment was added by Karlo10 (talk) • contribs)
- To be honest we do not need a video showing it being crafted. The blueprint is already on the page.--Focusknock m 14:13, 30 October 2010 (UTC)
- I will post again the video. If an admin will delete it for my is ok but you can't delete it.--The preceding unsigned comment was added by Karlo10 (talk) • contribs) 20:31, 30 October 2010
- Like Focusknock said, the only thing your video shows that isn't in the other is how to craft the weapon, which is already in the article. I don't see why you'd need somebody with extended righs to confirm that, but if you really insist, well...Focusknock IS a Content Moderator. Seeing as you removed your video right after adding it again, I take it the matter is resolved for you.
For future reference, please sign your edits with --~~~~ if you write something on talk pages. --CruelCow 16:32, 31 October 2010 (UTC)

Why did you edit my info on Granary?
Just wondering, because on the gravelpit and dustbowl pages it mentions them being the locations of Meet the Team videos, so I thought I would continue that by doing the same to the Granary page.
Chelsea 19:46, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- I admit, I didn't explain it well in my undo. I removed it because it belongs more onto the meet the scout page. Please don't take undos personally, they happen to everybody. Welcome to the wiki! --CruelCow 19:50, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- OK, I shall not take it personally, but should then Dustbowl, Gravelpit etc have any mention of Meet the Team videos deleted from them too? Chelsea 19:52, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- Seems someone already removed them, thanks for the help anyway :) Chelsea 19:56, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
- You're welcome. Also, for the future, if you are discussing on talk pages, please put a (or more ':') in front of each replay, to get the inline effect you can see here. --CruelCow 19:58, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

Sorry but....
You wrote me a comment to use the preview button more often. I don't get it really, i translate articles and each sentence is good. Often i translate many sentences sometimes only one. Let me use the save change button. It's better to be safe then unsafe. Or should i go on like u told me and don't edit anythink. My browser crashs 2-3times a day even reinstalling don't work. Don't want to offend u but this is the safest way for me. NoWhereMan 18:41, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- Don't worry, your edits are good, but each time you edit a page, a notice is posted at the recent changes log and a few other places, so it is preferred if you do one big (or medium ;-)) edit instead of several small on the same article. Of course if you happen to spot an error you've missed after your edit, you can edit it again, it happens. Concerning your browser problems, have you tried using an external editor to edit pages? The good ones even have syntax highlighting. Wikipedia has a nice article about them, and I think most of those should work for this wiki aswell. --CruelCow (talk) 19:30, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
- I will be kind and say you the truth: I dont know most of the syntax and other wiki stuff. First time at it, and don't get all of it. I use the great English ones, copy them and then start to translate and add my German name and description that's really simpel but the most i use and need. Editors are nice i really like notepad to write, but the other editos and stuff are mostly not my favorite because i don't know the exact structure and commands, i use it but it's more like swimming you know how to do it without doing it before ^^'. Most of my edits after edits are stuff i see when i read it again after a couple of minutes or start to edit another article. Sometimes you are to near on the article to see your own errors. Could you tell me why the medigun/de is a stub its finished for me(only red and blue could be rot and blau the german words)? And thanks for ur little > my edits are good YAY :)

Hi Cruelcrow; Thanks for replying on my editpage about the tyrolian thing. It happens; as an eager, newly registered, trying to figure out how things work. However; adding me to this wall of shame thing; is a hard way to treat a newbie; let's be honest. I registered to help(if i start understanding how things work. But slapping a new guy on the wrist by adding him to a wall of shame... That's just rude in my book. Maybe point me in the way on how i can be usefull around here; would be well appreciated.FoOz 21:01, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
CaSe SenSitive thing
Wouldn't it be better to fix stuff like:
Napalm grenade Napalm grenade napalm grenade
etc.
Is there a setting to link all these together?
Dislike all the editing stuff because one letter is instead of big a small one. I must edit posts in other articles and other way round, it's really really distractin. Every time u think wait this IS translated and u must find the right name link and edit it then. There must be a way hope u can give me a hint.--The preceding unsigned comment was added by Godlike11219 (talk) • (contribs) 23:14, 17 November 2010
- Mediawiki (the software behind this wiki and wikipedia) treats pages as case sensitive and there isn't really anything we can do about it, you'll still have to search if the article already exists with slightly different spelling. However if you find that a page has been linked often under the wrong name, you don't necessarily have to change every single link to it, you can just create a redirect. For that you simply create the "false" page and insert
#RÉDIRECT [[Correct page name]], like for example at Sniper rifle. That way, all pages linking to the wrong name, will automatically link to the correct one. - Having said that, all of the above only really applies when talking about the actual page being linked, instead of the description being displayed, where it is strongly preferred to change it to the correct version. --CruelCow (talk) 22:28, 17 November 2010 (UTC)
Where to find Netherland support guys?
I have one question for a guy from the netherlands but how to find one? Searchin articles for editin persons is not soooo efficient for me can u give me a tipp again? I'm learnin the Language and using a lot the official mann co. wiki in tf2. I read there:
Melee = slagwapen = Nahkampfwaffen(near fight only weapons)
atm the translation is = Handwapens = hand weapons ; all weapons are hand weapons for me....
So HOW to change it in every article if it is correct ~.~ --The preceding unsigned comment was added by Godlike11219 (talk) • (contribs) 02:47, 21 November 2010

- Looks like you didn't clear your cache. You should have tried Ctrl-F5 or adding ?action=purge at the end of the URL. Glad it's fixed now. – Smashman (talk) 21:51, 4 December 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah it is fixed, it is a bad thing to edit wiki articles on a real old pc(laptop with 20minutes power without power xD), so u can make a big closed sign into this stupid question, i'm shamed by myself.

How to upload this+german soldier bug?...
Hi,
i have translated Eng: > GRU English into German: > GRU for Dummkopfs <
But i dont geht how to Update the right top of the german article. There are just 2pictures and litte text in the English one, but I don't find which template or whatever it is. How can i get to fix this last thing? The translation is finished only this is bothering me.
NoWhereMan 00:28, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
- I don't really understand what you mean. Do you mean RED/BLU above the pictures? Those are the team names, which are untranslated in german, see BLU/de and RED/de. If you want, you can try explaining it in German. --CruelCow (talk) 16:04, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
NoWhereMan 17:31, 7 December 2010 (UTC)
- Hi, the hats off the german version are not centered under the pictures, it looks pretty weird can u fix that? ->HÜTE
- NoWhereMan 21:19, 10 December 2010 (UTC)
- I've talked to seb and he'll have a look. Let's hope for the best. --CruelCow (talk) 22:35, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
- Could you tell me how this is happening? Because only in german version is the template not workin or generell template not sooo good? NoWhereMan 00:43, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
- I don't know about the specifics, seb mentioned something about it really being two tables instead of one, therefore they aren't forced to align. Other languages have the same problem - for example Soldier/fr#Chapeaux, but I think German is worst since the names are very long. --CruelCow (talk) 17:43, 12 December 2010 (UTC)
- Sounds like a real problem in all other languages. Would seperating each language help a little?(don't want to do this even with bots it would be terrible) If it can't be solved easy it would be much better to make it for every language itself without multilanguage template style and stuff...Just my thinkin, hope seb will deal with that problem(who is that seb? clever german guy i can talk to in german? Just wanted to know). NoWhereMan 20:44, 13 December 2010 (UTC)

Demoman Primäry Secondary / German and English Version different
In the english wiki the stickybomb launcher is primary! In the german wiki the stickybomb launcher is secondary!
Demoman <- English
Demoman/de <- German
After looking at demoman profile ingame it shows: First is the stickybomb launcher Second is the grenade launcher.
Hope u can fix that for me and tell the guy who made this that he shouldn't do this thx. NoWhereMan 12:49, 21 December 2010 (UTC)
- If you have a look at the history you'll notice that it was like this since the article was created, since the English article was the same back then, so there is no need to tell anybody to stop. --CruelCow (talk) 10:59, 25 December 2010 (UTC)
- So the German Article is wrong or do i miss the point? I mean the difference is in the primary weapon category in 2 identical articles which only differs in the language, that can't be correct so the german must be a little bit wrong!(Ger:Wie kann sich die Primärwaffe unterscheiden obwohl beide Artikel das gleiche bedeuten!) Could I draw your attention towards, Team Fortress Wiki talk:New Users / Training Thread? If you don't want to, that's fine. Thanks. – Smashman (talk) 04:46, 27 December 2010 (UTC)

re: WindBOT
Was semi-logically deducing that an "undone edit" would set something off in the script telling it to hold off for the time being. I suppose that's not the case, however. Gerk 00:50, 28 December 2010 (UTC)
