Your contribution to the Pip-Boy gallery
I don't think it's necessary. We have an image of the Pip-Boy right there in the info box, wand we'll have pictures of the first person view soon enough. What makes you think it's really needed?
Regardless, I'll have to ask you not to act the way you did. When an edit is reverted, there's a reason. Having your edit reverted is not a green light to immediately add it right back on. It's a green light to find the person who undid it, ask them why and see if you can't reach an understanding. Otherwise, you only end up in a terrible edit war, and cause problems for everyone involved. You can find out who undid your edit and through the recent changes log, article history, or best yet, the IRC. The IRC is a chatroom editors use to communicate and coordinate for the good of the wiki. If you can't find the person you're specifically looking for, you can always speak to a moderator or an admin and find out what they think.
Now, do you think we can reach an understanding? What do you think should be done? --SilverHammer 00:27, 4 August 2011 (PDT)
For the record, here's the current image on the article. The image of the Pip-Boy in the infobox will be changed to reflect this in a couple days, the server is just a bit slow. --SilverHammer 00:30, 4 August 2011 (PDT)
Re: Pipboy Incident
Pshaw. There was no "incident", don't worry about it. You were trying to contribute, participate, and there's nothing in the world wrong with that. Here, give the help center and style guide a look. You're always welcome to make edits, just abide by those guides so it goes smoothy.
As for the IP thing, don't worry about it. No one's gonna hunt you down or hack your MySpace and force you to buy a dog or anything. They're all great people. I don't think other people can even see it anyway. I'm in there every day, so I can assure you that it's safe.
So yeah, no harm done. You're always welcome as an editor on this wiki. c:
