Stream and VODs (Video On Demand)
VanillaTV broadcast all their games live via the STV client, using both their TwitchTV stream and in a Mumble cast for those who like to watch the STV instead of seeing the streamer's camera. All games are casted by a pair of commentators. The focus is usually on the featured game of the night, however news of other important events is discussed if time permits. When the broadcast is finished a VOD is created, split up into the separate maps, and uploaded to TwitchTV and YouTube for those who wish to watch the game back.
OpenMic
OpenMic is a platform within VanillaTV used to find and recruit new casting talents as well as new streamers. An OpenMic cast will feature the applicant and an experienced caster, so they have someone to help them along the way in a tutor-like role. A number of OpenMic applicants have moved onto becoming part of VanillaTV and are now regulars. VanillaTV are always looking for new individuals and have an application form on their website.
VanillaTV Insight
In addition to recording of live broadcasts, one of VanillaTV's YouTube channel's main draws is Insight. This is a feature where a recording is uploaded of a top-level player's POV from a recent match, including the audio from their team's voice communications channel. Insight offers a different perspective to viewers from VanillaTV's normal live commentary, and is a useful learning tool to inform viewers of the various individual and teamwork capabilities required of top players.
Miscellaneous
VanillaTV also create content outside of live matches. They create monthly frag movie reviews and have occasional tactical analysis videos of landmark matches. These are post-produced and so are found on VanillaTV's YouTube channel.
