The Beta Quick-Fix is a secondary weapon for the Medic that exists in Team Fortress 2 Beta. It uses the Medi Gun model.
This Medi Gun has a 40% faster heal and ÜberCharge build rate compared to the default Medi Gun, but lacks the ability to overheal patients. Additionally, should the player train the weapon on a faster ally, they will be able to move at the same speed as their healing target. When the ÜberCharge is deployed, the patient and the Medic will be healed at triple the healing rate, and become immune to movement effects such as knockback, stun, and slowdown, but will not be granted invulnerability. Additionally, if the Medic deploys the ÜberCharge but does not target an ally, he is healed at the normal rate.
Healing a class with an item speed bonus, such as the 15% bonus granted to the Pyro from the Powerjack does not apply the speed bonus to the Medic. This means that the Scout is the only class that will provide a speed bonus to a Medic using the Beta Quick-Fix.
This weapon, with a new model and adjustments to its ÜberCharge build rate, was shipped as the Quick-Fix as a part of the Über Update. The Beta Quick-Fix remains in TF2 Beta, as a separate weapon, with its appearance and stats unaltered.

The healing rate is based on how long ago the target was last damaged. If the target was damaged less than 10 seconds ago, then they are healed at the normal rate of 33 health per second. From 10 to 15 seconds, this rate increases from 33 up to a maximum of 100 health per second. This mechanic is in place to encourage falling back to heal, as without the boosted healing rate, players often found that fighting, dying, and respawning was quicker than falling back, being healed to full, then re-engaging. [1]
With the Beta Quick-Fix's ÜberCharge, a group of players can be kept healed due to the increased heal rate, allowing for more concentrated firepower than a single invulnerability charge can, at the cost of still being vulnerable to kills based on a high enough damage.

Bugs
- ÜberCharge issues:
- The ÜberCharge may overheal the Medic by 1 health.
- Dying during an ÜberCharge may cause the ÜberCharge sound effect to play until the player disconnects or map changes, much like a previously patched bug with the Kritzkrieg.
- Healing Heavies under the effects of the Dalokohs Bar will not restore their health past the default 300 HP.
- Being deflected by a Pyro's compression blast or being set on Fire will cause the player to lose the team-colored overlay when under the effects of the ÜberCharge.
- When killed, the dropped Beta Quick-Fix will be RED regardless of team.
- If a Medic with a full Beta Quick-Fix ÜberCharge equips the Medi Gun and touches a resupply cabinet, the Medic will hold the Syringe Gun with the view model of a RED Medi Gun that looks as if it's attempting to heal a target every 5 seconds, regardless of team.
