- Steel toe boots are commonly used in the construction industry and the military in order to protect the wearer's feet from heavy objects.
- This hat may be styled after the Soldier's, hinting that the Pyro killed him and took his boot to wear like the Engineer's rubber glove for the Respectless Rubber Glove.
