The Bonk'n'Flash was intended to be a hat for the Scout and was entered in the Polycount Pack contest. It was designed to be a part of a larger pack centered around a Bonk! Atomic Punch theme. It would have been a helmet similar to the mask worn by the DC Comics superhero "Template:W", who had the ability to move at superhuman speeds.

A texture for this item was found within Team Fortress 2's GCF files following the Mann-Conomy Update's release, which has since been removed.
