Custom Gamemode

I was wondering if I could get a permission to post a map with a custom gamemode: zf_asylum_b2, this version just got released and it's a very high quality map, I could get in screenshots and work on the page myself. I think it would complement the Zombie fortress mod section very nicely by adding this single reference map with screenshots. the only reason why I'm suggesting this is because it's the only original zf map with a good enough quality to be placed here, but this is my opinion, any thoughts? Change the mention of ZF_Asylum_b2 on the page to a link to it's FPSB page. -- Pilk (talk) 20:37, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
thats a good idea, but could I put in some gameplay screenshots for the ZF main page? Guy 20:51, 3 August 2010 (UTC)
Sure that sounds like a good idea too. -- Pilk (talk) 21:09, 3 August 2010 (UTC)

Wasn't this page much more detailed before?

I swear, this page used to be a lot more detailed then now. If I'm right, what happened to the old version? And a side note, the list even had Mario Kart in it, with a list of memes... AbeX300 22:41, 8 August 2010 (UTC)

I stripped out a lot of it because it was unnecessary. So it has the same amount of valuable information, just less fluff and more substance. -- Nineaxis Duck Gib.png 22:50, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
However, am I still allowed to post a custom map? What with the User:AbeX300/*custommap* thing and all? And it is called custom maps for a reason. AbeX300 22:54, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
What point are you trying to make? If you want to create an article for a custom map, it will need to meet certain notability guidelines. Achievement maps won't meet those guidelines unless under exception circumstances. -- Pilk (talk) 23:33, 8 August 2010 (UTC)
Wait, not even adding it to my user only? I thought you can make anything in your own vicinity... AbeX300 01:37, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
The Wiki is not a free file or page hosting site. Every page must be relevant in some way to the Wiki. So no, you can't put just anything on your user pages. -- Pilk (talk) 01:42, 9 August 2010 (UTC)
This page looks bads. We should at least have the Custom Maps page go to a page not just category section. I would do something if I knew how Octaytse 04:15, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

Split

Split category between Category:Custom maps (for unreleased maps) and Category:Community maps (for released maps)? And delete Category:Custom maps unreleased‎? This would require some maintenance of certain templates. Or suggest something else.
