The Copper's Hard Top is a community-created headwear item for the Heavy. It appears as a white Police motorcycle helmet.
Update history
- Added the Copper's Hard Top to the game.
July 12, 2011 Patch
- [Item schema update] The item can now be used in crafting.[1]
Trivia
- The Security Shades and the Copper's Hard Top were created and submitted alongside one another.[2] They were intended to be a single item but were separated into two by Valve.[3]
- This item orginally had three styles[4], and the word "Poolice", a combination of the words "police" and "pootis", on the back.[5] Another style had a word "Template:W", the naming of police in post-Soviet countries.
- This hat actually has two name puns in it; Copper is a slang term for Cops or Police, while the 'Hard' part of the name is a reference to how hard the element Copper is.
