Gourd Grenades is a tool item. When applied to any explosive Demoman weapon, any explosion caused by the weapon or the projectiles it shoots will appear orange, in a similar manner to Pumpkin Bombs.

In the same manner as Squash Rockets and Sentry Quad-Pumpkins, items that have the Gourd Grenades spell applied indicate "Halloween: Pumpkin Bombs" in the Loadout.

Equipping with a weapon enchanted with the Gourd Grenades (Pumpkin Bombs) spell causes similar effects in certain Magic Spells cast by the player, specifically the spell also changes the projectile and explosion effects of those spells; examples: Fireball, Tesla Bolt, and Meteor Storm projectiles gain a purple trail and MONOCULUS projectile explosions become orange Pumpkin Bomb effects.

Prior to Scream Fortress 2015, it could be found during Halloween events inside of Haunted Halloween Gifts on Ghost Fort or from a Pile Of Curses.
