Halloween is an annual celebration in Team Fortress 2, which has been held every year since 2009. It is the first time Valve has incorporated a holiday-theme into Team Fortress 2, and it follows a loose connection to the history of the TF2 Universe, most notably in connection to the Mann Family:

Haunted Halloween Special

Main article: October 29, 2009 Patch

Released October 29, 2009, the Haunted Halloween Special was the first event-specific patch added to Team Fortress 2. It introduced the map Harvest in both standard and event versions, the Mildly Disturbing Halloween Mask, the Ghastly Gibus and Pumpkin Bombs.

Scream Fortress

Main article: Scream Fortress

The October 27, 2010 patch, dubbed Scream Fortress, introduced a number of new items and maps. The maps Mountain Lab and Mann Manor (the event version of Mountain Lab), Halloween Masks, the Horseless Headless Horsemann's Head, the Voodoo Juju and the Spine-Chilling Skull were added.

Non-Halloween specific additions include Description Tags, Gift Wrapping, and the Sticky Jumper.
