Headless Horseshoes is a tool item. It can be found inside of Haunted Halloween Gifts on Ghost Fort, or from a Pile Of Curses, during Halloween events.

Using it on a cosmetic item and then wearing said item will result in flaming violet (bluish-purple) footprints being left in the player's wake as they run, similar to the Horseless Headless Horsemann. It does not erase paint, and can be used with other spells at the same time.

Any unused Halloween Spell items are removed at the end of a Halloween event.

If you have two items with footprint spells equipped at the same time, the game will always display the spell effect on your misc.

Footprints spells don't stack.
