What was noise?
The Heavy

The Noise Maker is an action item that was introduced during the Scream Fortress Update. When equipped in an action slot and used, a noise is played to all the other players on a server. Most Noise Makers have multiple unique sounds that can randomly play when used, with the exception of "Stabby", which has only one possible sound.

Each Noise Maker, aside from "TF Birthday" and "Winter Holiday", can only be used 25 times and is then removed from the player's backpack.

Noise Makers

Scream Fortress Update

Halloween Noise Makers could only be purchased from the Mann Co. Store during the Scream Fortress Update event. There were eight Noise Makers, one of which was unused. The seven usable Noise Makers could be purchased as a pack.

The icon on its button ressembles the cake icon from Portal, albeit with its cherry removed.
