The Person in the Iron Mask is a promotional headwear item for the Pyro. It is an iron mask painted gold, with a bolt ridge on the side of the mask to hold the two pieces together. There are also eye-slits and and ear holes that issue a team-colored glow.
This item is awarded in Genuine quality to players who pre-purchase BioShock Infinite before March 26th, 2013.

Trivia
- The name of this item is a reference to the Man in the Iron Mask, a prisoner arrested as Eustache Dauger in 1669 or 1670 and held in a number of jails across France for a period of 34 years. The famous writer and philosopher Voltaire claimed that he wore an iron mask and was the older, illegitimate brother of Louis XIV, the Sun King.
- This item based off an enemy in Bioshock Infinite called the Fireman, which is a "suited enemy that radiates and projects fire".
