The Planeswalker Goggles is a headwear item for the Scout. It is a pair of goggles that is similar to the ones worn by Chandra Nalaar and Jaya Ballard, planeswalker characters from the collectible card game Magic: The Gathering. The goggles have a grey frame with orange or yellow rims and a black strap. They replace the Scout's default cap, but retain his headset.
The Planeswalker Goggles, along with the Planeswalker Helm, were added to the game as "upcoming promo items for Magic: The Gathering".[1] There has been no further announcement as of yet regarding these items.

Trivia
- In Magic: The Gathering, storylines revolve around "planeswalkers", powerful beings who wield magic, travel between planes of existence and do battle with each other.
- Jaya Ballard is a fire mage planeswalker who founded the monastery from which Chandra Nalaar comes from. Chandra's design is partially based on Jaya's.
- Aside from being a pyromancer, Chandra is also an agile thief aligned with red magic, the color of chaos in the card game - rather apt for the playing style of the Scout.
- The description is a reference to an alternate Chandra planeswalker card named Chandra Ablaze set after the events of "The Purifying Fire", a story based on her travels.
