The Shooting Star is a community-created primary weapon for the Sniper. It is a sniper rifle made from a jury-rigged laser equipped with a telescopic sight with two fins atop it and a team-colored button on the side. An antenna protrudes from the barrel of the rifle with a small tube of team-colored liquid at the end of the barrel. The rifle is constructed from grayish-green metal and covered in a cream material at the stock and body of the rifle.

Enemies killed by the Shooting Star suffer a distinctive death by incineration, wherein they disintegrate into smoldering orange or blue cinders, depending on which team the user is on, that quickly fade away.

This rifle also has a unique sound effect when fired while scoped in, compared to that of the Machina, however retains its sound effect from the Machina when fired un-scoped.

This weapon may also be inspected by using the inspect item key.

This weapon functions identically to the Machina.

The Shooting Star was contributed to the Steam Workshop.
