I have used this Mann Co. shovel for twelve years! It does not blog! It does not biodegrade! It barely digs holes!
The Soldier

The Shovel is the default melee weapon of the Soldier. It is a hand-held folding shovel, also known as an entrenching tool or spade. The handle appears to be splintered.

Trivia

  • The critical hit animation is similar to the one the Soldier uses to kill the Spy in Meet the Soldier.
  • The tool's real-life counterpart is the U.S. Army M-1943 entrenching tool, used to dig foxholes or trenches for cover.
