:::"weren't committed properly" ? I thought a bot loads the data and compares it with the data of the past and with that the change is determined. Or are you saying there is a person looking for every change by hand? If not, why wasnt it done properly?

I think it is a nice and important feature for people in and out of the wiki to see the changes of names and sentences as also the new information which is provided with a nice green touch. The person(s) who are responsible for this should take this job serious. I know they dont get paid for it, but it is one of the greatest tools in the wiki for everyone in my short experience here. It is helpful and visible tool. Sorry if this sounds like someone isnt doing great, i think of all of you in the highest. I just wanted to let you know that this is a big deal to me. Sorry. : It is a bot that does it, yeah. I'm not entirely sure how the bot works in regards to the the patch diffs, so someone else with more knowledge would have to cover it. I'm just going off of what Moussekateer (the guy who owns that bot) said about it over on the IRC. --[[User:Omolong|Omolong]] ([[User talk:Omolong|talk]]) 12:35, 30 April 2014 (PDT)

Localisation files changes

The localisation file in german is the same as April_24,_2014_Patch but in the end there is one additional/new string from the April_18,_2014_Patch where the etf2l medals season 17 were announced but only now added. So my question is about the mechanics behind the green lines in the wiki. Is this correct or did something go wrong? Because most of it is not new. Magicalpony (talk) 05:26, 30 April 2014 (PDT)

Looks like the diff is displaying the April 24th Diff and not one generated from yesterday's update Balladofwindfishes (talk) 06:59, 30 April 2014 (PDT)
I spoke to Moussekateer about it not that long after it happened, and apparently the changes from the patch of the 24th weren't committed properly, so that's why the diffs of the two updates look so similar. I don't think there's much that can really be done. --Omolong (talk) 07:07, 30 April 2014 (PDT)
"weren't committed properly" ?

Sorry. It is a bot that does it, yeah. I'm not entirely sure how the bot works in regards to the the patch diffs, so someone else with more knowledge would have to cover it. I'm just going off of what Moussekateer (the guy who owns that bot) said about it over on the IRC. --Omolong (talk) 12:35, 30 April 2014 (PDT)
