I just noticed that there is 1 Community Deflector. Only one exists. Look at the stats.

Page existance reason?

Should this page exist? While yes it's technically a weapon wouldn't it be better served as a section in the bot bio page, when one exists? --Org 19:56, 15 August 2012 (PDT)

just to point out there is other weapons that these guys have yet this was the only one to be added officaly in the game (if it was only by a hidden update note)so maybe sometime in the futre valve will make that weapon offical for us or over several updates will make it so that we can be the machines (reason i added the machine bit on is cus i have seen serves up for a full team of machines and humans at the same time) --Iaindude 04:37, 16 August 2012 (PDT)

IDEA

I just had a thought as to how you can obtain a Deflector just a strange speculation after getting one of each bot killer weapon (dont mater on the color) the next tour of duty you complete it either gives you a deflector or another bot killer wep (also you cant cheat and trade bot killer weps with people it will be worked out by the medal) --Iaindude 03:06, 18 September 2012 (PDT)

The suggestions / idea / or anythings that not relate to item itself, please taklk at SPUF instead of this talk page. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Hinaomi (talk) • (contributions) 04:23, 18 September 2012 (PDT)

'Deflects'

The weapon technically doesn't deflect projectiles (in the way that airblasts do), as the projectiles are destroyed and drop a 'projectile ragdoll' instead of bouncing off in another direction. I propose that it be changed to 'destroys' or 'disables'. -FlaminSarge 06:16, 27 September 2012 (PDT)

+50% damage

This isn't true. The higher damage is an innate aspect of the giant-sized weapons.

The deflector itself doesn't do the higher damage. In expert mannworks, there are normal-sized deflector heavies and they do not have the increased damage.

Same for the green particle, that's exclusive to giant heavies.

The deflector is literally a sasha with the projectile killing stat, nothing else.

Someone own a Deflector

Hey, i was looking on Meet the Stats, and look what Meet The Stats says:http://stats.tf/item/850/Deflector. Dafuq? --MarcoDoctorwho 05:10, 20 April 2013 (PDT)

A guy named ErroR found a bug in the game, allowing him to get any item in the item schema with any effect. He spawned himself a Deflector, deleted it and told Valve, who then patched it and gave him an Unusual Cheater's Lament with Sunbeams as a reward. Eels 05:13, 20 April 2013 (PDT)
