Medieval Mode

Just to confirm, this weapon cannot be used in Medieval Mode? I can't seem to find that information in the in_game.txt. User Upgrade Signature.png 03:52, 3 August 2012 (PDT)

Confirmed, it can't. No idea why. Ragorism 07:07, 3 August 2012 (PDT)Ragorism

Well, it should. It's not a product of the modern, is it now? I mean, look at it. It's just a butcher knife. { <3 SpriteFan3 © } 12:53, 3 August 2012 (PDT)

Well, it's no matter now. User Upgrade Signature.png 17:44, 3 August 2012 (PDT)
Didn't they change it to allow it in medieval mode now?GeneStealer 17:58, 5 August 2012 (PDT)

.res file for the Cleaver meter?

As far as I know it isn't HudItemEffectMeter_Scout.res, it's apparently just HudItemEffectMeter.res, but I don't really see how. http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/541808684845762012/3F21B917E170AABBF303124AF76FC3DBB2E6B242/

HudItemEffectMeter.res is just the general one, I'm not sure how it affects every meter in the game. The only reliable guide about hud res files is flame's guide, and it's quite outdated now. There it's stated that the sandman, jarate and spy cloak meters are affected by this file (valve merged them, as they used to be divided into particular files). The correct res file should HudItemEffectMeter_Cleaver.res, I've extracted them using gfcscape and since there's also a bunch of particular res (rayguns such as pomson, bison, etc.) it's possible to asume that's the right file. Don't know waht HudItemEffect_Scout.res handles, but since I'm editing the files for a HUD, as soon as I find out, I'll post here.

Mini-Crit Range

Anybody know how far away you have to be to make this weapon mini-crit? Give me an example (eg across 2fort bridge, etc.) GeneStealer 17:59, 5 August 2012 (PDT)

It seems to be about the distance to get a max stun with the Sandman. Balladofwindfishes 18:19, 5 August 2012 (PDT)
In Hammer Units, for mappers?

Crit bleeding sound

When you land a critical hit on a stunned target, does the bleeding do critical damage as well? I know for sure that some bleed hits still trigger the crit sound, but it doesn't seem to do more damage. I play with damage shown on targets, and I'm not seeing any crazy numbers on bleed. Has anyone noticed this as well? K-Raider NL 03:36, 12 January 2013 (PST)

Yes it does, and I love it! BEST! WEAPON! EVER! Superprototype 10:58, 26 March 2013 (PDT)

It should look like this, not Pistol holding animation with cleaver in the hands. User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 14:21, 21 July 2018 (UTC)

You should have looked closely on the file - here; as you can see, for some reason an image from 2012 is displayed - if you take your time and see what Vasya uploaded, you'd see that it is the correct animation. Not your fault for not checking it, but don't be folled by image's server cache showing incorrect pics. Goodjob (talk) 14:25, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
Indeed, the wooki is playing a trick on us again. The images are actually correct. Killicon baleful beacon.pngVasyaTheWizard 16:21, 21 July 2018 (UTC)
