Unless I'm horribly, horribly mistaken (which I doubt I am) I saw some normal sized deflector heavies on Coaltown in the last wave of Cataclysm. And I don't just mean I was spamming rockets at them, missed, and said 'oh man those heavies are haxorz! the can deflect my rockets!' No, these heavies even had the same icon as giant deflector heavies, only it wasn't red. I didn't get close enough to look for an U-Clank-A, but I am pretty sure that these heavies exist. From looking at, "Air blast pushback on damage. Pins players, low damage, slow move speed" and the crossed out weapon stats, I think these Heal-on-Kills were originally push deflectors which is where that unused icon comes from. I only showed one template but all the other Giant Heal-on-Kill Heavies have the same description and same crossed out weapon stats.--[[User:MvMFactExpert|MvMFactExpert]] ([[User talk:MvMFactExpert|talk]]) 18:40, 2 October 2018 (UTC)

Mittens Heavy

Are they actually used on a map? I thought they were unused. Balladofwindfishes 18:51, 18 August 2012 (PDT)

Yep, they are. Seen them on Decoy. User Moussekateer signature sprite.pngMoussekateer·talk 18:54, 18 August 2012 (PDT)

It also says on the page that they have 20% less health, but in the infobox it states they have 60HP. (20% of their normal health) Which one is correct? --HexZyle 23:43, 24 August 2012 (PDT)

They only have 20% health of a typical Heavy. Clarifying now. Painted Vintage Merryweather 803020.pngFyahweather 23:59, 24 August 2012 (PDT)

Bushwacka is only effective because they have 60hp, and they are sped up to 100% of base speed (Pyro/Engi/Sniper/Spy speed). I know for a fact, that they DO NOT take minicrit damage. TheIgnorantMedic 21:56, 21 November 2012 (PST)

GRU Heavy

Stop adding back the Pugilist headwear for GRU heavies. They clearly don't use it, only KGB boxers do. Hell-met 12:02, 28 September 2012 (PDT)

Unused GRU Heavy

The GRU Heavy icon IS used. I've seen it before. Boynedmaster 12:43, 25 August 2012 (PDT)

Giant Heavy

have some trouble with translate giant heavy's nerf:'Cannot see past 1200 units' can anyone explain its meaning? Themokey 04:45, 11 October 2012 (PDT)

1200 units mean: Hammer Units. "Hammer units are the unit of measurement used by Source Engine games. It is also used to judge the speed of objects and players in-game, mostly for competitive play. 1 Hammer unit is 1/16 of a foot, and is the minimum distance the Source Engine can measure." So the heavy can only see enemies in a range from himself: 1200/16 = (i use the metric system) = 2268cm = 22,68m . So if you stand as Sniper 23meters away from him he will not hurt you, even if a normal player could see you (in an open field f.e.). δ³Σx² > Add + or - skills for me 05:03, 11 October 2012 (PDT)

Mitten Heavy Size?

In videos i've seen them as tiny little heavy robots, but same health as usual, and run really fast. they were also circling players. is this right? or is this just a mod? Weirdduder10 12:32, 14 October 2012 (PDT)

in the official robot_standard popfile, their scale is set to 0.65, but commented out for whatever reason. the server you where on edited the popfile to uncomment that swarming players is a behavior labeled as mob, all robots of a group chose the same target and effectively bumrush them. Original Giant Heal-on-Kill Heavies

I recently decided to look into Valve's robot.pop files to find anything interesting and I found the Giant Heal-on-Kill Heavy has a very interesting template.

  • T_TFBot_Giant_Heavyweapons_HealOnKill // Air blast pushback on damage. Pins players, low damage, slow move speed
  • Class Heavyweapons
  • Name "Giant Heavy"
  • ClassIcon heavy_deflector_healonkill
  • Skill Expert
  • Health 5000
  • WeaponRestrictions PrimaryOnly
  • MaxVisionRange 1200
  • Attributes MiniBoss
  • ItemAttributes
  • ItemName "Deflector"
  • "damage bonus" 1.2
  • "attack projectiles" 2
  • // "weapon spread bonus" 1
  • // "fire rate penalty" 4
  • "heal on kill" 5000
  • CharacterAttributes
  • "move speed bonus" 0.35
  • "damage force reduction" 0.3
  • "airblast vulnerability multiplier" 0.3
  • "override footstep sound set" 2

From looking at, "Air blast pushback on damage. Pins players, low damage, slow move speed" and the crossed out weapon stats, I think these Heal-on-Kills were originally push deflectors which is where that unused icon comes from. I only showed one template but all the other Giant Heal-on-Kill Heavies have the same description and same crossed out weapon stats.--MvMFactExpert (talk) 18:40, 2 October 2018 (UTC)
