Necessary

Is this template necessary? I feel like it's gonna become an ever-growing list of community operations that's listed here as well as in the Nav. I'd say before it becomes too large, just keep it in the community events nav or make a different nav entirely.

I support making a different nav. - BrazilianNut (talk) 15:05, 26 May 2023 (UTC)
It's there so that the See Also sections for each event's article can be up to date (so we don't have to update every single one every time a new operation comes out) and can be easily localized with common strings at the same time. If you want to do something else, do something else, so long as it does the same things. — User ThatHatGuy Signature Icon.png User ThatHatGuy Signature Talk.png User ThatHatGuy Signature Contribs.png 13:29, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
The issue is not that it exists, it's that it's a rather large list already and it's likely only going to keep expanding. A Nav is much more useful for this rather than a bullet list of the events.

Gramps makes a good point here, at some point in the near future, articles are going to get clutter with past Operations, having a Nav could be a fine solution for this. YossefTalk 17:07, 27 May 2023 (UTC)
Fine, I made the nav. So what do we do with it? We'll obviously kill this, and add the new nav to the bottom of the operation articles. Do we keep the operations in the community events nav, and put the new one above that one, or do we remove the operations from the community events nav and get rid of that one from the operation articles? — User ThatHatGuy Signature Icon.png User ThatHatGuy Signature Talk.png User ThatHatGuy Signature Contribs.png 00:30, 28 May 2023 (UTC)
My opinion would be to remove the community operations from the custom events nav and add ThatHatGuy's nav above it. YossefTalk 05:40, 28 May 2023 (UTC)

──────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────── We should keep both, because other pages will have the custom events nav but not the operations nav.
