Tournament Medal - UGC 6vs6
The UGC 6vs6 tournament medals are a series of medals awarded in Genuine quality to those who participated in the 6vs6 tournaments conducted by the UGC TF2 league.
Currently, UGC 6vs6 is in its 39th season, but they didn't start utilising medals until the 11th season. Since then they have used 7 different medal designs:
The season 11, 23-25 medal is a shield shape with wings on it. On the shield itself there is a TF2 logo and a banner with two stars on it. All medals share this design with the exception of the Platinum one which features an airplane model with animated propeller. These medals share the same models with the UGC Highlander (season 9) medals.
The season 13, 21-22 medal has a tf2 logo with a single wing containing the ranking of the season. All medals have this design except the Platinum ones that have the extra feature of a colored shooting star aura that goes around the medal. These medals share the same models with the UGC Highlander Tournament Medals for season 11 and the seasons beyond 19 and the UGC 4vs4 (season 9+) Medals. This medal is also used for seasons beyond 20.
The season 14-16, 28-29 medal depicts a rising phoenix with either a 1, 2, 3 or * on it depending on the ranking of the team. All medals share this basic design, but the Platinum medals have the extra feature of rising fire behind the medal. These medals share the same models with the UGC Highlander (Season 12-14) medals and the UGC 4vs4 (Season 1-3) medals.
The season 17-20, 34-35 medal is a bewinged circle on which the team rank is written as a roman numeral (participation medals just have the TF2 logo instead). Underneath is "UGC" written in block letters and a red and blue ribbon. These medals share the same models with the UGC Highlander (Season 15-18) medals and the UGC 4vs4 (Season 4-8) medals.
The season 26-27 medal depicts a shield, plated with platinum, silver or steel, depending on the player's division, with UGC engraved on it above a varying number of stars, depending on the player's position in the tournament, which is connected at both sides to a team-colored strap.
The season 30-31 medal is a star with a horseshoe shape on it. Within the horseshoe shape is the roman symbol for either 1 (I
), 2 (II
) or 3 (III
) depending on the ranking your team got that season. This design is shared with the UGC Highlander season 8 medal.
The season 32-33 medal is a sort of plaque that has "UGC" printed on it. Underneath is a symbol that changes dependent on the rank: 3rd place has one star, 2nd place has three stars and 1st place has 3 stars and a banner that goes across them. This design is shared with the UGC Highlander season 6 medal.
The medals for Season 11 and Season 13 were contributed through the Steam Workshop.
