Hello, Bandicoot0123!

Welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Official Wiki!

Here are a few links to get you started:

  • If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style guide.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add four tilde symbols or ~~~~ onto the end.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
    • You can use the Signature Icon.png button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.
  • If you have trouble with anything on the wiki or you're not sure about a specific topic, feel free to join the IRC.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.
    • Additionally, if you would like to add any self-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:Bandicoot0123/ to the page title when you create the page.

Once again, welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Wiki!

A Request

Heyo, Thanks for translating the italian side of the wiki. Anyways I have a request. I'll be linking a rather large list of "Categories", If you could please translate the massive list I am about to link that would be great! Also to note, Translating categories is the same as translating any other page. Just... smaller. Anyways here is the list:

‏‎* Category:Count Tavish/it

Thanks! Ashes (talk) 12:37, 5 July 2014 (PDT)

Done :D Oh, sorry for the useless page, I had not refreshed this page yet. --Bandicoot0123 (talk) 13:25, 5 July 2014 (PDT)

No problem, I'll get a staff member to delete it anyways. I'll have more tasks in the future if that point arrives so I'll let you know. Thanks again! Ashes (talk) 13:26, 5 July 2014 (PDT)

Your translations

Hi there, I just noticed your newest translations and found some mistakes (diffs are here and here):

  1. Don't forget to translate the "Level 1-100 Bla" in the item infobox.
  2. Don't forget the item flags and attributes in the infobox as well.
  3. Make sure {{See also}} links to the correct page, see the diff how to translate this exactly.
  4. If the voice file doesn't exist in Italian, append |en-sound=yes
  5. In contrast to item pages, item set articles need the {{DISPLAYTITLE}} template to display the correct name.

Oh, to continue my shameless advertising, you can try out my WikiTranslator to get those things automatically done ;) You can join the IRC if you need more help or advice ;) { TidB | t | c } 07:21, 6 July 2014 (PDT)

Thanks for the tips; I'll look your WikiTranslator, it seems helpful. --Bandicoot0123 (talk) 07:36, 6 July 2014 (PDT)

By the way, don't forget to translate Wikipedia links ;) As a reminder, that's how it's done: [[w:Warhammer 40,000|Warhammer 40,000]] -> [[w:it:Warhammer 40.000|Warhammer 40.000]]. Note that you have to use the Italian page name in the link. { TidB | t | c } 11:50, 19 July 2014 (PDT)

Thanks again for the tip ;) I'll remember that --Bandicoot0123 (talk) 11:56, 19 July 2014 (PDT)
