I decided to quit wiki, it's not about the conflict between me and that person, but it's mainly because of how people threated me here in the recent year. I lost motivation because of it. Always threated me like a bad person. I thought about quitting years ago. It's hard to maintain the mental level to above average. But with the recent behavior I received, I decided to do it. It's heart broken for me to leave the site that make me be me. But this place is no longer the place I used to know anymore.

The reloading sounds are set up to work for both the Original and Machina. They're only unused in the sense they don't actually work. Both are set up properly (or... well I guess not properly, but they made a good attempt), they just don't work for whatever reason. This makes them a bug, rather than unused content. == About the Cow Mangler 5000 ==
+
: That discussion never really went anywhere and didn't have a proper conclusion as nothing was ever properly addressed. Discussions being abandoned is sadly pretty common, but nothing was really agreed upon in this case.
 +
: Like I said in the message: patch notes can be freely modified in articles. This has always been the case, and there's simply no reason to change it now.  You may dislike that some pages do have this info and others don't, but that's a preference, not a reason for change.
 +
: You could also update the ones that lack these detailed stats or come up a better way to display old stats (which I believe is your goal here). <!-- Also, Hi Hinaomi! --> — <span style="font-weight:bold;color: #5BC236">Tark</span> 13:13, 15 September 2023 (UTC)

I was just wondering about your decision to remove the Cow Mangler 5000 bug that I added (reflected projectiles become crits rather than mini-crits) on the grounds that it is a mechanic and not a bug.  I believe it should be considered a bug because it violates two mechanics.  First, all reflected projectiles are supposed to be mini-crits; the Cow Mangler 5000 projectiles becoming crits clearly violates that mechanic.  Second, the Cow Mangler 5000 is not supposed to be capable of being crit-boosted; this bug is a clear violation of that mechanic. I would like to know your reasoning for considering it a mechanic.  CyclopsDragon 13:21, 5 August 2012 (PDT)
+
::Like I said on IRC:
:Because it was too overpowered before. The reflect crits is another nerf thing that Valve actually add but it didn't enough so Valve added more nerf like 5% slower reload times, Can't be crit-boosted and 10% damage penalty. ::* If you gonna keep it as 1:1, rename the section to Patch note (as that, you can just copy & paste everything from the official patch note).
::That's understandable, but then why doesn't it appear in the tooltip or in any of the patch notes?  If it was an intended mechanic, then surely it would be shown somewhere.  CyclopsDragon 21:10, 5 August 2012 (PDT)
+
::* If you want to keep it as Update history, keep it as it is for now or find a better way to display the different state of said weapons (as Tark mentioned).
:::Some attribute are hidden, like original fire from center. Hinaomi <small>(talk) - (contributions)</small> 22:17, 5 August 2012 (PDT)
+
::As right now, I still don't have a better idea/method to display the old stats of the weapon with drastically changes like Soda Popper or Short Circuit. <span style="color:#9a86c5">Asuka Ninomiya</span> <small>(talk) (contributions)</small> 22:45, 15 September 2023 (UTC)
::::True, but that's a much more minor attribute than this.  And besides, firing from the center is implied by the weapon's viewmodel.  CyclopsDragon 17:10, 6 August 2012 (PDT)

:::::Or 20% damage to building in Pomson 6000, It's one of another hidden attribute. And about "why doesn't it appear in the tooltip or in any of the patch notes?". About patch note, nope because it reflect as crit since it added to the game. And toltips, it's in Damage and Function Times. There is in no way at all I am trying to be rude about this, but speculation has been added that has not been removed on actual pages, like Grey Mann's page having a "theory" that the man in the torn middle is him. == Red Tape Recorder bug ==

You reverted me in this edit, and I don't want to start an edit war, so I feel like I should explain where I'm coming from. The normal Sapper does damage to the buildings it's placed on, whereas the Red Tape Recorder does not&mdash;it specifically has a "-100% Sapper Damage Penalty" attribute, so a crit boost would have no effect on it. If it did glow when crit boosted, that would be a bug. Not glowing is the expected behaviour of a weapon that cannot crit. <em style="color:darkblue">den</em><em style="color:darkred">dodge</em> 16:47, 20 August 2012 (PDT)

:I noted that Normal Sapper glow when crit-boosted, even it doesn't effect anything. That's meaning Red-Tape should glow when crit-boosted, but Red-Tape doesn't. So That's a bug. Hinaomi <small>(talk) - (contributions)</small> 17:01, 20 August 2012 (PDT)

::Why does it have to be a bug with the Red Tape Recorder? It sounds to me like a bug with the normal Sapper if it can glow despite not being able to crit. Presumably, somewhere in the schema the Sapper is listed as dealing damage (which it does), but not as not being able to crit, so it can glow. Whereas the RTR is presumably listed as dealing no damage, so it never glows. Whatever the cause, it sounds like a bug with the Sapper, not the Red Tape Recorder. <em style="color:darkblue">den</em><em style="color:darkred">dodge</em> 17:18, 20 August 2012 (PDT)

:::I don't think it's stock sapper bug. CM5K was able to crit-boosted before but it didn't glow even mini-crit. So that isn't bug? Many unable to deal crit damage glow when crit-boosted like Buff Banner. So it's red-tape bug. Hinaomi <small>(talk) - (contributions)</small> 18:05, 20 August 2012 (PDT)

::::"Lots of other things are broken, so it must be a bug with the non-broken thing." If a weapon deals no damage, it shouldn't glow when crit boosted, because that's misleading. The Red Tape Recorder isn't buggy just because it displays the expected behaviour while other weapons don't. The other weapons are the buggy ones. == Scout and MvM ==

FYI the bit you took off the Scout article was about Scout's innate abilities in MvM, not about "strategies".

According to your reasoning, might as well remove the double capture rate info. Kid Of The Century 01:08, 21 August 2012 (PDT)

:It's innate ability only MvM mode. It should not note on Character page unlike the double capture rate that is innate ability in many mode. == Reverting edits ==

Hi there. I just noticed that you reverted someone's edit, but didn't supply a reason in the summary. Keep in mind that it's very important to tell the person why their edit got reverted, as failing to do so often leaves the other person confused and sometimes very angry (and occasionally they rage-quit the wiki). Just keep this in mind for the future, thanks! <span style="font-family:TF2 Build;font-size:17px;color:#a13434;">MogDog66</span> 20:24, 26 August 2012 (PDT)

:: I'm going to ask again to please give a reason when you're undoing someone's edit. Remember that you're basically deleting their work, and it's very important that you show them the professional courtesy of a well written reason. You did get a warning about hostility, but you can take the time to write respectful summaries without being mean about it. Also make sure that the edit is actually something that needs to be undone. For example: Pognet's edit to the burning bongos. I'm qualified to say that because i had some bad days in the past, and i thought the whole world is against me. But for real some opinions are not really important.
