Hello, Vrain13!

Welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Official Wiki!

Here are a few links to get you started:

  • If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style guide.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add four tilde symbols or ~~~~ onto the end.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
    • You can use the Signature Icon.png button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.
  • If you have trouble with anything on the wiki or you're not sure about a specific topic, feel free to join the IRC.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.
    • When uploading images for use on your user page, please add the prefix User Vrain13 to the file's name.
    • Additionally, if you would like to add any self-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:Vrain13/ to the page title when you create the page.

Once again, welcome to the Team Fortress 2 Wiki!

Categories

Heyo,

Good job on those first person images, however, please add a suitable category next time, as seen in this edit; this allows us to keep track of different kind of images. For any futher information, please see our guidelines. Thank you for contributing, and keep up the good work :). 40pxWkPn (Talk | contribs) 05:55, 16 January 2017 (PST)

Regarding 2016 Festives

Hey, real good effort with all the new 2016 Smissmas images! Just one thing though: I think the lighting on the Festive Kukri and Jag previews are a bit too bright when you compare them with the standard pictures beside them. Could you retake both of them if possible? I think you're all set for a wikichievement once those are settled. Item icon Loose Cannon.png Archrelico "Mexi" 10:38, 18 January 2017 (PST)

Hello, my pleasure doing something for the community for once xD and yes, I'm going to retake it after i upload the last remaining fire axe and the shovelThe preceding unsigned comment was added by Vrain13 (talk) • (contribs)
For someone who's just started taking ingame images, these are pretty high quality, I think the only issue was the lighting which you weren't used to. Thanks in advance for adding the rest. Also, remember to sign your post with four ~, that's your signature. Item icon Loose Cannon.png Archrelico "Mexi" 10:47, 18 January 2017 (PST)

Much obliged, thats true thought it'll look cool with that lighting. I see thats too bright now that you mention it. Havent been doing that, since I thought its not needed for just uploading screenshotsThe preceding unsigned comment was added by Vrain13 (talk) • (contribs)

Oh no, I mean here in talk pages, not in the edit summary. Putting ":" in front of a new post moves it forward so it's clear who's paragraph it is, and signing each new post with four "~" is pretty much a necessity on User Talk pages so we know who wrote it. Alrighty then, will do that now and the future. Also, I'm done with the reworking for the screenshots, tell me what you think of it Vrain13 (talk) 11:12, 18 January 2017 (PST)
The new Jag photos look good, and all the new ones are perfect except possibly the Quick-Fix's one, as the lighting on the Medic's gloves still look a bit off. Also, could you mind taking some pictures of the Festive Spy-cicle in the "backstab-ready" position? That's all that should be missing.
Also, you should note that your photos might be replaced by higher-quality content from the moderators. Don't be too disappointed though, you're doing very well for a first-time image contributor. Item icon Loose Cannon.png Archrelico "Mexi" 11:26, 18 January 2017 (PST)
