The Medic on ghosts in need of busting

Ze Goggles are a community-created headwear item for the Medic. They are a pair of chunky, military-spec Template:W.

Update history

September 30, 2010 Patch (Mann-Conomy Update)

December 15, 2011 Patch (Australian Christmas 2011)

  • [Undocumented] This item's type was changed from "Hat" to "Glasses".

Trivia

  • The name and description of Ze Goggles are a reference to a line spoken by the character Template:W, in "Radioactive Man", an episode of Template:W. This line has since developed something of a cult following in online communities.
  • The design for Ze Goggles is a reference to the Ecto-Goggles (now Paragoggles, as of Ghostbusters: The Video Game), which make constant appearances throughout the Template:W series. The creator of Ze Goggles submitted their creation to the former contribution page under the name "Ect-oh Goggles".[1]
  • The sound that plays when this item is picked up and moved throughout the backpack uses the same sound as the night-vision goggles, from Template:W.
