The edges seem a touch less smooth than they could. Where's this file located? Shine 05:14, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Ohshi- I think I turned off antialiasing with the magic wand. Didn't notice. -- Pilk (talk) 05:15, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
You didn't answer my question. V.V Shine 05:24, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
I figured I would update it for you so you won't have to do the file wrangling that I did to get it to show gold. Basically just replace tf\materials\models\weapons\v_wrench\v_wrench_sheet with tf\materials\models\weapons\c_items\gold_wrench, then F5 the model viewer. -- Pilk (talk) 05:30, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

Engi Update changed the colors

The above can someone take a new image? Kthx. -- Smashman... (ts) 22:19, 12 July 2010 (UTC)

Somehow the reflection gets very pixel-y in the Model Viewer... Halp? D: — Wind 22:33, 12 July 2010 (UTC)
Apparently this is what it looks like now. How horrible. -- Smashman... (ts) 21:23, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
ewwwwwwwwwww. Looks like it was dunked in Jarate --Firestorm  User Firestorm Nuke Sig.jpg 21:58, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Wasn't that a way to craft a Golden Wrench? Or at least, that's what people thought. Hmmmmm, Jarate-coated wrenches.-- Vi3trice (talk) 22:01, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
Are you sure that isn't just the result of the user running on low quality textures/shaders, so it doesn't get the nice shine effect? -- Nineaxis Duck Gib.png 23:30, 13 July 2010 (UTC)
It'd explain why my screenshot has bad reflections on it I guess — Wind 00:09, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
I just had the pleasure of being in a server with a man who owned a Golden Wrench, and it looked nothing like what I see in that screenshot. I took many many pictures, if necessary I can upload them but, the wrench looked pretty much like that (if viewed from the correct angle, if viewed from a different angle it looked more like the backpack icon image on this page). - Mr. Magoolachub 10:20, 30 November 2010 (UTC)

Some problems

Trying to get an up-to-date image of the golden wrench, but there seems to be a great deal of inconsistency between this image and this one. First off, when I apply the method Pilk mentioned, only one half of the wrench is covered, while the other remains as normal wrench texture. Is this normal? Second, since the other image I mentioned is no longer applicable, should it be deleted? --Vaught 02:11, 21 November 2010 (UTC)
