Talk:Disco Fever
Trivia proposal
Proposed Trivia: The dance performed by the Spy is a reference to the character Tony Manero dancing with the same moves in the movie Saturday Night Fever to the song You Should Be Dancing by the Bee Gees.
Argumentation:
- The groovy moves: The Spy dances the exact same way the character Tony does in the movie.
- The Bee Gees song: The author added this to the taunt's Steam Workshop description: "NOTE: Taunt unfortunately does not include Bee Gees song". The movie scene features the song "You Should be Dancing" by the Bee Gees, which is not a direct confirmation, but it's the closest thing to it.
Notes:
- The reference is very specific, and considering that the creator didn't -fully- confirm the reference, I'm starting the discussion (unless it's not needed).
- I'm also not sure if it's worth including the name of the song in the trivia.
- Needless to say, contact attempts with the creator were futile.

Support Workshop page also says "Saturday Night Fortress anyone?". The dance spy does matches pretty much perfectly. From the video you linked at 15 seconds John Travolta sorta adjusts the left sleeve, then the right sleeve, then stands up straight with hands at the waist, sorta wiggles the shoulders, gets down lower and points to the left...then fast forwarding to around 1:17 in the video John Travolta points upwards to the right, points upwards to the left, reaches down touches the left foot with his right hand, then points upwards again with the left. Seems like the dance spy does was modeled after the dance from Saturday Night Fever as it's beat for beat. All the moves spy does match up to those in the movie. Mediarch

Support, I wish this taunt had this music because it looks much better. Aside from that, the Workshop descriptions are enough to confirm them for me ("does not include Bee Gees song" + "Saturday Night Fortress").
