Well, so far as I can tell (I am on the road today), there is some activation of features, but not the anticipated patch, yet. I am not opposed to a stub with nothing more than a time line until the Patch, I wanted to run it by Talk, first. Maybe: Scream Fortress 2019 is the anticipated 2019 Halloween event. The Patch has not been released, yet. Timeline: Oct 1-2 Halloween restricted cosmetics activated and Soul Gargoyle kill tracking activated. Oct 3 Special Events Past Maps menu activated under Casual Mode. M I K A D O 282 oOOOOo oo oo (talk) (Help Wanted!) 18:11, 5 October 2019 (UTC)
Scream Fortress 2019 has not started yet. Although Valve has enabled Halloween mode and made Halloween maps available, they have not added any new content, balance changes, or bug fixes yet.
Replying in the blind here, this new discussion function is busted on ever browser I try.
Obviously Scream Fortress 2019 Patch isn’t out yet, but by the very same token we have no proof it will even be called Scream. BUT, something IS happening, and that CAN be reported, and, if it is not too strong to say so on a game wiki, it SHOULD be reported. Note that my earlier reply in no way asserted that the Scream Fortress 2019 update had occurred, in fact took pains to say that it hadn’t started, but at the same time it acknowledges that SOMETHING is happening.
The original list of Halloween disambiguation did one thing, and it did that one thing well. But I have long wanted a table that offered an overview of the series of events, in the order they happened; particularly, the Valve title (not the wiki's Scream Fortress ####'" titles), and the release order of the maps, comics, bosses, achievements/contracts, and certain other notable functions and items. I also wanted to see patterns in content over the Updates. Let me know if the Haunted template is too clever by half. M I K A D O 282 oOOOOo oo oo (talk) (Help Wanted!) 02:54, 16 September 2019 (UTC)
The only interesting thing that I would add to the table now would be a bullet item in the right column stating the number of community cosmetic items released in each update. The 2017 event could be rationalized from the perspective that the community's development effort was committed to the Jungle Inferno competition.
