Talk:Hot Wheeler
Possible Trivia
- Many of you heard of the toy car brand Hot Wheels, isn't the name of this item a nod or a reference to the toy brand? Yossef | Talk | Contributions 21:07, 5 December 2021 (UTC)
- Probably, but it would need confirmation from one of the creators, because it could still be a coincidence.
GrampaSwood (talk) 21:10, 5 December 2021 (UTC)- With the help of Kodachi, we confirmed that the name is indeed a reference to the toy car brand Hot Wheels.

Some issues
Hi everyone, I'm making demonstration video for this taunt, but found out something that didn't match up what the page is saying:
- You have to press MOUSE1 instead of "action" button to do the special animation of this taunt.
- The special animation didn't have "flames pop from the exhaust pipes" as the page said.
I tried to look up other people playing this taunt on YouTube (1, 2) and found out there is indeed no flames.
Can someone confirm both of these?

- Hello, Alex.
- There was a hidden note after "'action' button" that read "please specify if it's M1 or M2."
- As for the exhaust flames, that was taken from the Workshop demonstration, as the in-game store's preview only shows intro and loop animations.
- I have edited the description to match your information. When you find inconsistencies between an item and what its article says, feel free to edit the article to match the item.
- Cheers. - BrazilianNut (talk) 11:41, 20 May 2022 (UTC)
- Hi Alex, the creator confirmed that the missing flame is indeed on purpose, but it was Valve's decision. Yossef | Talk | Contributions 19:28, 25 May 2022 (UTC)
- The motorcycle model does not have an attachment on the exhaust pipes, therefore, not being a bug. When a model has particles (like the Genteel Smoke effect, items with the smoke effect has the "cig_drg_smoke" attachment), an attachment needs to be added at where the effect would emit. There are none on the motorcycle (not on the pipes, not anywhere else), the only attachments are related to the wheels spinning and such, but not for particles. I am curious if there's something on the particle files, however. - ▪ - 01:26, 28 May 2022 (UTC)
