Talk:Second Workshop Content Pack
Move
Several of the earliest community updates appear to have names with little to no sourcing. In recent years, we've established a soft rule that unnamed updates are to be named after their crate or case (the Blue Moon Pack, as one example). I think retroactively fitting these old updates to that new standard is reasonable, and this update comes with the Summer Appetizer crate and key, making this the Summer Appetizer Pack if we follow modern naming. Nope. Unless there's a reliable source explicitly confirming that the names on the wiki are wrong, there's no reason to rename these pages. Given the wiki's official status and the consistent use of these names over the years (here and by the community), they've effectively become the de facto titles for these updates. Renaming them over a decade later based on a nonexistent rule would only create unnecessary confusion. — Tark 00:56, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
- Just so I understand, are you asking me to prove a negative? I don't know how I would go about convincing you that the currently used name isn't used officially in any capacity. There are also more than two workshop content packs, so if that's a consistent naming convention than many other updates would have to be changed. In either direction, this update in particular doesn't really fit with anything else's conventions. Grapevine (talk) 03:37, 24 June 2025 (UTC)
