Hale River

I appreciate the suggestion of the Colorado River as a reference of the Hale River in Map of Badlands. Your edit was useful in highlighting the erroneous reference to the Jemez River and U.S. Highway 550. I can only imagine a copy-paste error from notes on the Badlands maps in Shadow Boxers where the river and highway are represented, roughly.

I, too, saw similarity with the general geometry of the Colorado River, but as I see it, the scale of the representations of Valle Caldera, Albuquerque, and "Sangre de Cristo Mountains" is roughly 100 miles across with the Lake Powell about 200 miles or the top of the map. However, the Rio Puerco (like the Jemez, a critical water source west of Albuquerque), fits both the geometry of the Hale River and the scale of the map, and would be the correct reference.
