Versus Saxton Hale responses

This article is about voice responses in the official game mode. For voice responses in the community version of the game mode with the same name, see VS Saxton Hale Mode (custom game mode).

Voice responses are contextually triggered lines that play after the player has achieved something, for instance killing a certain amount of enemies with a primary or melee weapon, or the player has triggered something, like being set on fire. Versus Saxton Hale contains several responses for Saxton Hale (voiced by Matthew "MegapiemanPHD" Simmons, instead of JB Blanc) and Gray Mann (also voiced by Matthew Simmons), the latter of whom serves as the announcer on the mercenary team on non-holiday maps.

On the map Outburst, Saxton Hale takes up the form of the devil named "Hellfire Hale". Hellfire Hale, in addition to his unique voice lines on that map, speaks with a hellish filter applied to most of his standard voice lines.
