Just wondering- would healing an overdose wielding medic grant the speed increase? I'm guessing no for the same reason it doesn't count gass jockey pyros.[[User:Studoku|Studoku]] 15:31, 6 December 2011 (PST)

Oh. Erm. Today! – Smashman (talk) 14:15, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

Yesterday with the ninjapatch, I think. Untouch 19:26, 24 December 2010 (UTC)

So Ninja that I didn't even notice it until this morning, except for TF2 appearing in the Downloads. PS Smashman.. talking to yourself? Been in the sun too long, I'll throw some liquid on ya when you're next on the KritzKast servers Nutter 19:30, 25 December 2010 (UTC)

Beta

The Quick Fix is real. Maggosh 23:50, 11 February 2011 (UTC)

Make up you mind!

The image for the quick-fix is the regular medigun, whilst the backpack icon is the kritzkrieg. Pick one User M-NINJA Signature.png 03:59, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Changed icon to regular Medigun, since that's what's at the top of this page and used as the icon on the beta page. Toomai Glittershine 04:21, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Regarding 100% Crit chance

It's not true; the weapon is just based on the Kritz. That's why the backpack icon shows the kritzkrieg. Pretty basic, here, read the patch notes guys. yyler (talk) 05:09, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

Bugs?

There are some bugs I'd like to point out that aren't already on the page~ Although the description of the weapon says "Move at the speed of any faster heal target." this is infact not true, if you heal a demoman who was 5 heads (or whichever amount it needs to be before he is faster the a medic) He will not move as fast as the demoman, but instead move at regular, medic speed.

Anothe bug is if you are in the respawn area, and you are currently healing a Scout, if that scout changes class and you are still healing him, the medic will still have the Scouts speed.

Another bug is that you do not move as fast as a medic healing a scout...if that makes sense?

Although the speed problem with the demoman, I don't know if it effects with the buffalo steak sandvich or the Poly Count set Pyro --LightDasher 22:49, 12 February 2011 (UTC)

How Should I play with this?

I was using this on orange and I couldn't come up with any good strategies that I use with any other medigun. Anyone want to braingstorm some type of strategy to play as a Quick-Fix medic?

I don't think strategy will be added before it gets released, since the weapon's stats may change.  – Awesome.png Ohyeahcrucz [T][C] 03:45, 30 April 2011 (UTC)

Anyone else?

Whenever Ubercharging a teammate with the Quick-Fix, I seem to remain vulnerable to damage. Does anyone else have this problem, or is it an intended feature? Tib 23:08, 14 May 2011 (UTC)

It doesn't make you invunerable to damage, read the stats again. User Moussekateer signature sprite.pngMoussekateer·talk 23:10, 14 May 2011 (UTC)
Then what are these "Damage Forces" that the description refers to? Explosion knockback? Tib 00:33, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
Yep. Airblast and the like. User Moussekateer signature sprite.pngMoussekateer·talk 00:33, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
And sentry fire, slowdown (natasha/shortstop), stunning (ghosts/sandman), etc. It's actually pretty cool!-- Babygirl User Babygirl avatar.png 00:36, 15 May 2011 (UTC)
Oh, that makes sense. Thanks guys. Tib 00:46, 15 May 2011 (UTC)

Moving this article to Beta Quick-Fix

I think it should be moved, since the item name was changed to Beta Quick-Fix  – User Ohyeahcrucz Sig.png Ohyeahcrucz [T][C] 22:22, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

Haha, beat me to typing this. I'm the one who changed the name in the article itself and redirected Beta Quick-Fix to here for the time being. Dragonsbrethren 22:32, 18 June 2011 (UTC)

ubercharge heal rate

The 300% faster healing rate is compared to the regular medigun's heal rate, or to the already upgraded by 40% quickfix's rate of healing? Xeoxer 05:50, 24 June 2011 (PDT)

Spy Checking

When you heal an opposing spy with the Quick-Fix, the health bar displays an overheal which isn't possible. Should this be noted as trivia or a bug? BLU Fancy Fedora.png Aom776 14:12, 25 June 2011 (PDT) I would say bug if it is not patched already Sic2k10 20:27, 11 November 2011 (PST)

Charge fill speed

has the tooltip "not building". Can somebody clarify that? --CruelCow (talk) 05:15, 26 June 2011 (PDT)

Not sure. Does the QF build Uber slower once the Medic's heal target is at 100% health? On the normal Medi Gun and Kritzkrieg tables, the lower rate is for when their heal target is at 142.5% health or higher, but since the QF can't overheal, that obviously doesn't apply. TheChrisD RantsEdits 08:15, 26 June 2011 (PDT)
As far as I've noticed, QF does charge at the setup time speed all the time. So it apparently would count into the overheal perimeters.

I'm still confused about the table. It looks almost identical to the Kritzkrieg but it's supposed to charge faster. Also I have sometimes run into a bug where quick-fix doesn't charge as fast as it's supposed to. Respawning usually fixes this. GOLDENTRIANGLES 16:25, 3 September 2011 (PDT)GOLDENTRIANGLES

As far as I can tell, it charges at the same rate as the kritz BUT ONLY when a target is not fully healed. After the target reaches max buff the kritz's charge rate slows down abit, while the quick fix charges at a constant rate all the time. Self damage or during setup does NOT increase the quick-fix's charge. HOWEVER being healed by another medic/cart/dispenser will SLOW the charge rate down. GOLDENTRIANGLES 21:35, 15 November 2011 (PST)

Quick-Fix Ubercharge decrease rate

I fixed an error regarding the Quick-Fix: The Ubercharge DOES decrease faster between more people being Ubercharged with the Quick-Fix, like the Medigun and Kritzkrieg. Odin(Reborn) 09:24, 31 July 2011 (PDT)

I think this is a bug, not sure if it's supposed to drain faster. GOLDENTRIANGLES 16:15, 3 September 2011 (PDT)GOLDENTRIANGLES

Source nº2 leads to a deleted forum post

If more than one Medic is healing the target, each Medic's build time is divided by a factor of the number of Medics healing that target. [2] = http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?p=11342109&postcount=1530 --Shattered Heart Lynx 15:18, 6 August 2011 (PDT)

Speed Bonus

Does the Medic match the Demoman's speed if he's chraging with the Chargin' Targe or Splendid Sheild? --ScoutKast 18:11, 11 August 2011 (PDT)

idk. But that's an interesting point. Test it out.

Divide by Medics Question and +1hp overheal

"If more than one Medic is healing the target, each Medic's build time is divided by a factor of the number of Medics healing that target.[2]" This needs a new steampowered source link, atm it says invalid post that is kinda sad... i can't read the explanation...

Also it is listed as a bug that the Medic overheals by 1Hp, isn't that just for the medic to be safe from a full bodyshot, i thought that valve made it that way, if i'm wrong never mind that but tell me :) . TheDoctor(without a small pic) 18:01, 27 August 2011 (PDT)

Possible Trivia?

Interesting tidbit I discovered. As we all know, the Quick-fix currently heals people faster than any of the other medi guns. However the "diameter" of the hose that's attached to the backpack is more constricted than the normal gun or Kritz.

I didn't want to just put it on the trivia section, so I thought this would be a good place until I got some feed back. GOLDENTRIANGLES 21:27, 15 November 2011 (PST)

Quick Fix is not Beta anymore

the article is out-dated since it says that the Quick Fix is a Beta weapon. It WAS on the beta but it has been moved to the main game, there still is a Beta Quickfix, but the description here is misleading. Shingo 00:08, 21 November 2011 (PST)
