Scout page edits

Hi there, you've made about 4 edits to the Community Scout strategy page in the last 3 minutes. Please use the Show Preview function before saving changes to save having to go back and correct yourself again. -- McWang 01:45, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

I preview and save. I just only typically make one change per edit especially when they are in different sections so it stands out when someone does a wikitext comparison, as well as identifying the change (GRammar, SPelling, LINK, etc.) Marid 01:49, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
Ok, I understand your reasons for doing that. But please use whole words in your edit summary in future since not everybody will know what you mean when you just put GR or SP. Please tick the Minor Edit box too if your changes are only small spelling/grammar fixes as well. --McWang 02:19, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

It's better practice to just do all your edits in one go rather than multiple small edits. User Moussekateer signature sprite.pngMoussekateer·talk 02:18, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
When making grammar and spelling changes I make them as I read. If it is better to write them all down and go back, I can do that instead. Is it still okay to break them up by section though? Marid 02:20, 9 December 2010 (UTC)
If you know you are making multiple grammar changes, I'd recommend opening up the edit page in a different tab/window and changing as you read, then saving it at the end. It really does help us piece through the recent changes if there are fewer minor edits and more major edits. --User Firestorm Flame.png Firestorm 02:22, 9 December 2010 (UTC)

Hi!

I just wanted to let you know that I think the health and speed sections are neat ideas. They're already perfectly mentioned in the article, but they were still neat and looked nice. Just a little too big and crowded. The information there is already perfectly accessible in the class info boxes, on the right of the article. If there's anything you wanna talk about, any questions or concerns, don't be afraid to talk to someone. The green-named guys on the recent changes log are moderators. Maybe you should toss your health and speed sections at them? Just plop em' right on their talk pages and say "whatcha think?" You just might impress someone! --SilverHammer 14:29, 25 July 2011 (PDT)

I saw the info on the Demo page and copied it for the Pyro and Scout because those are the classes I play and thought the info should be there for those classes as well. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Marid (talk) • (contribs) 18:34, 25 July 2011 (UTC)

Huh, I wasn't even aware it was there. I guess the amount of info was just to much to all fit in the info box. There's enough room for the info in the Scout and Pyro boxes, though. I don't think they need their own sections quite yet. You might want to personally ask someone with a bit more authority, however. Try the staff IRC. --SilverHammer 14:39, 25 July 2011 (PDT)
