CP Alloy

Before we work on the custom map page more, we need information on the map contest itself. --User Dr. Scaphandre Golden Ghastly Gibus.png Dr. Scaphandre 19:39, 16 July 2016 (PDT)

Ah sorry, I'm planning on adding more to the page later on. For now, here's the contest thread, and the results page. Ms. Mudpie (talk) 20:05, 16 July 2016 (PDT)
Okay, I'm looking at the contest and the coverage of the map and contest and it doesn't look very notable to me. We don't really cover every single mapping contest out there. Unless you can find me some more notable coverage like a popular Youtuber covering the map, I don't see why the map and the contest should be covered. --User Dr. Scaphandre Golden Ghastly Gibus.png Dr. Scaphandre 00:59, 17 July 2016 (PDT)
Fair enough about the contest, but I don't see how the map itself is any less 'notable' than a lot of custom maps on the wiki to be honest. Lilburgh and Eclipse were added recently and neither of them were made as part of a major event, so why haven't they been taken down as well? Ms. Mudpie (talk) 03:13, 17 July 2016 (PDT)
Actually you know what, fuck it. Delete it. I don't care anymore. Ms. Mudpie (talk) 05:27, 17 July 2016 (PDT)
The ither custom maps were either A. Part of a much bigger map contest that exceeded past just one website, or B. Was covered by several big name TF2 Youtubers and/or Valve. That's why some of these maps that are unfinished have coverage because they were in a contest much bigger. The map you made a page on was part of a small monthly TF2Maps contest, and we don't provide coverage for every contest made. For the two pages that you brought as examples, Eclipse is debatable, but I think it can slide as it's been there a while. Lilburgh on the other hand I can't find anyone talking about that map, and I just suggested deletion for that page too.
If you want to argue why Alloy should stay, then you can give your piece on the page's talk page. --User Dr. Scaphandre Golden Ghastly Gibus.png Dr. Scaphandre 09:05, 17 July 2016 (PDT)
No. just delete it. Ms. Mudpie (talk) 09:11, 17 July 2016 (PDT)

Regarding the deletion of CP Alloy and your recent user page edit

Hi there,

I can understand why you were upset at the time your page creation was deleted. The page was marked for deletion by another user, and that user even explained on your talk page as to why it was being marked as such; you were given the opportunity to make a counter-argument, but you decided to throw in the towel and have the page deleted.

However, returning years later only to throw shade on a staff member or the Wiki staff in general for doing their volunteer duty seems rather silly and won't help your case at all, nor will this kind of behavior be accepted. I will kindly ask you to remove the offensive content, otherwise the page will either be blanked or subject to deletion.

In regard to the map Netherlands, the map had simply gone unnoticed and is now deleted. Thanks for bringing that to our attention. Unfortunately, the majority of our staff team are quite inactive nowadays due to either lack of interest in the game or dealing with IRL business, so some things may slip by. Regardless, this isn't something to get worked up about as there are still plenty of other ways to contribute.
