ETF2L Highlander Community Challenge - это Highlander турнир, устроенный Европейской Team Fortress 2 Лигой и поддержанный Valve. Нацелен на введение новых игроков состязательную игру, к турниру призывают команды игроков, не имевших опыта в состязательной игре, сражаться за призы.

Правила турнира стандартные, что означает никаких случайных критических ударов, использование настроек для турнира и Stopwatch модификаций. Однако, в отличии от спортивных состязательных игр, все оружие разрешено для использования.

Расписание

  • August 9, 2010: Event announced[1].
  • August 26, 2010: Закрытие регистрации.
  • August 29, 2010: Finals division announced.
  • September 5, 2010: График матчей сроком на неделю.
  • September 12, 2010: Начало 1 недели.

Ladder

In addition to the Highlander Challenge, a Highlander Ladder has been announced that runs prior to the tournament. Unlike the tournament, the ladder is open to all players, allowing teams the opportunity to practice against each other as well as competitive players before the event starts. The ladder uses an ELO ranking system.

Prizes

  • Players on the 1st place team earn a golden Highlander Community Challenge in-game medal.
  • Players on the 2nd place team earn a silver Highlander Community Challenge in-game medal.
  • Players on the 3rd place team earn a bronze Highlander Community Challenge in-game medal.
  • All players who complete their games earn a participation Highlander Community Challenge in-game medal.

Coverage

Matches will be open for spectators, and the competition will be covered by various competitive TF2 websites and communities including ETF2L Radio, PwnageTV and ExTV, Community Fortress, Cadred and VanillaTF2.
