One sniper to another, mate: Give! Up!
The Sniper on looking at my edits

The wiki is dying, why? Because people who have made their way on the site, just camp the recent changes. Therefore not allowing new people to get involved. On top of this, anything that a new user edits or adds to a page is almost immediately removed because of the most ridiculous reasons. The site is too uptight. In order to receive more traffic, the Wiki needs to be more accepting with newbies. We cant have the oldies just absolutely tear them to shreds when they try to get involved. We need to be more open to change, have a bit of leniency, try new things. It would hurt. So that's why I'm giving up on the Wiki. Because I know it cant change. There are too many people here, who just camp the recent changes, to have an enjoyable community. I see no future for the site. It has been ruined by it users. The ones who are afraid of someone new coming along, and stealing the spot light. For those people, I have to say: People don't always come with initial malicious intent. But if you tick them off, revert every edit and block them out of your community, they will get mad. Guaranteed.
