Item sets article

Heya. I like your reordering of the set items but it's not nesscary for link ever single one of them. The items are clickable in the pictures and just one instance of each 'primary', 'secondary' etc. needs to be linked.

I'm glad you mentioned this, we spoke on IRC earlier and this was corrected. Thank you for your input.

Show preview

Information.png Please make use of the Show preview button. It gives you a preview of the edit you make, allowing you to perfect it before you save the page. Constant edits to the same page are just flooding the Recent Changes list. Thanks.

Ah, yes, the Recent Changes list. I was working so hard that I had forgotten about it! Thank you for the reminder.
minip 02:58, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

Oh, and don't go using the Staff signature if you aren't staff.
Alex2539 - (talk | contribs) -- 03:37, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

I simply copied the signature and pasted it by accident, thank you for fixing this.
minip 04:09, 10 November 2010 (UTC)

You can add your own signature by simply typing ~~~~. This will be replaced with your username and the time. Also, it's better if you indent using colons (":") rather than bullets ("*").

Your edits

They're always +1/0/-1 edits, changing capitalization, adding an extra space, etc. While that's not always a bad thing, please try to contribute in another way, or at least make all of the small edits in one go rather than editing one character, saving, editing another, saving again, etc.
Wind 03:17, 11 November 2010 (UTC)

I would group the edits together if I could; a lot of the corrections I've made are punctuation or capitalization errors. Unfortunately, these errors are often repeated on many different pages, usually due to editors who copy and paste. I can assure you that I am not intentionally trying to flood the log, I'm just working hard! Thank you for your concern.

Why are you changing the Capitalization of 'Strategie' in the german articles? Upper case is the correct version.
CruelCow (talk) 02:38, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
As I recall, within German sentences there are subjects and predicates. I believe Germans will capitalize official names. In all those edits I've made, the main subject was the weapon, the "strategie" is the predicate that is not an official name, and therefore not capitalized. If this is incorrect, then I apologize for my mistake. This is all knowledge taken from a German class I took years ago. Thank you for your concern.
minip 02:45, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
Nope, all German nouns are written upper-case. Template:W. I'll ask Wind if his bot can fix it.
CruelCow (talk) 03:06, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
Thank you for reminding me. Until his bot is able to make these corrections, I will be doing them manually.
minip 03:11, 12 November 2010 (UTC)
* I have now corrected all the mistakes you've mentioned.

Better now. Carry on, is good :3

Class nav changes

Hi there, I'm afraid we're reverting your changes to the class navs. Mainly because the changes would have to be copied across all of the languages the navs are written in - which is something I don't think myself nor yourself would be too happy in doing (for such a minor change); and you've also used [[File:Leaderboard class xxxx.png|15px]] instead of {{Icon class|class=xxxx|size=15px}}, which means the little icons no longer link to the appropriate page. Thanks.
RJ 20:29, 15 November 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for the tip about the icons not linking correctly. I will have to begin fixing this elsewhere. I was indeed planning on updating all the language pages, as I've done with the weapons directories over the past few days.

* We've now spoken on IRC and agreed to use my revisions, as long as they include the correct image code.

Language template

You don't need to remove it. We are letting it gradually remove itself as translations are updated.
Pilk (talk) 15:57, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

I had agreed with WindPower to remove the unnecessary language navigators, and started to do so accordingly. I then realized the large amount of them. There are a lot; I have no intention of specifically removing all of them. However, if I'm editing other material and I happen to come across one, it will be removed.
minip 04:11, 24 November 2010 (UTC)
* We've now discussed this matter on IRC.
minip 04:48, 24 November 2010 (UTC)

We told you to stop. It is apparent you are spamming meaningless edits like this, and others, conveniently spaced at intervals of a day. At this point you have seriously jeopardised any chance of earning a Wiki Cap.
Pilk (talk) 23:09, 5 January 2011 (UTC)

I've been trying to remain active by editing at least once a day. My revisions aren't meaningless. I was told that those language navigators should be removed, and the other example you provided was a request by WindPower who stated that those tables looked broken beforehand. Understand that I am just trying to help; I believe that contributing a little bit every day is better than doing nothing at all. Your concern has made me realize that my recent activity hasn't been very diverse.
I wish to improve my performance, feel free to contact me on IRC or Steam.
minip 10:20, 6 January 2011 (UTC)

I was going to write something more extensive, but it is probably not worth it. All I can say is this: if you are attempting to artificially inflate your edit count you should stop. The vast majority of your recent edits have not been remotely constructive or necessary. If you feel they should be done, do them hand-in-hand with other, more needed, changes. As an additional note, placing |- before the closing |} in tables has absolutely no impact on the HTML output of the page. If it was done to fix tables that "looked broken" it was the wrong solution. I apologise that my words of warning in the final sentence may come across too strongly.
