Model

Does anyone know how the model was able to be used in the free to play video? The video was uploaded in June 2011, yet it wasn't submitted to the workshop until October 2011. Taser9001 07:26, 27 June 2012 (PDT)

It was submitted via the Contribute! page before the Workshop. User Wingless Winged Signature.png 07:27, 27 June 2012 (PDT)
The more you know. Thanks for the info. Taser9001 07:31, 27 June 2012 (PDT)

Crafting

Does anyone know the blueprint to craft this? --Parnifia 14:26, 27 June 2012 (PDT)

It's not even out yet. Davo 14:39, 27 June 2012 (PDT)

Crafting recipe

The crafting recipe for the Beggar's Bazooka is a reclaimed and three Direct Hits. Cheddars 19:34, 27 June 2012 (PDT)

Contrary to its description...

I'm seeing that the Beggar's Bazooka still gets ammo from the dispenser. Anyone could double-check this to make sure? Xierra 00:07, 28 June 2012 (PDT)

Make isolated tests, then if that's the case add to the page. But I think it's more likely you accidentally stepped on a metal part lying around. -- Mistah Phoenix (talk) 02:59, 28 June 2012 (PDT)
Thought so. I wanted to try it, but my bazooka is traded already, aww man... Xierra 03:15, 3 July 2012 (PDT)

100% misfire crits?

I was playing in training mode to try out this weapon, and I found that loading too many rockets (which I'll refer to as misfiring) caused damage to all enemies around you. I decided to have some fun and used the developer console to give me virtually unlimited health (hurtme -999999) and noclip. I went on a little killing spree using only the misfires, but noticed something strange; all the misfires (I misfired about 7-8 times) were critical hits. However, I was not using any addconds to give myself these crits, and when I released the three stored rockets, they were all normal rockets. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't reproduce the crits at all. Do you think this is a bug of sorts, or did I overlook something that gave me full crits? There's probably something really obvious and stupid that I'm not thinking about... BloonZ 16:13, 28 June 2012 (PDT)

Bugs with misfiring

I'm surprised that I haven't seen much information about the Beggar's Bazooka misfiring on the Wiki so far. A few friends and I found that occasionally the misfire will hit other players on the map, and we've (Haydino) compiled a video showcasing what we've found so far. To summarise what's in the video, we believe the misfire works by detonating two rockets near the user after loading the fourth rocket (as demonstrated by two damage indicators) and the spawning of the second rocket is related to hitting distant players. When the misfire hits a distant target, only one damage indicator is displayed and half the damage of a normal misfire is taken. The misfire seems to spawn the second rocket at players (friendly or otherwise) that are "surfing" on props (such as a payload or the elevator on Doomsday), buildings, players or other similar objects. By "surfing", we refer to a player either moving on a prop or standing on a moving prop. However we've only found this to be consistent in controlled environments on a private server, as while the bug still occurs in the same circumstances on public servers, it does so far less often and consistently. Additionally, because the misfire is simply the detonation of two rockets, the damage can be reduced by the Gunboats. Finally, the Beggar's Bazooka can be loaded during humiliation, and while it cannot be fired, the misfire will still occur and deal damage to enemies. This is my first contribution to the Wiki, so I'm not really sure how I can add this to the article or if it's even appropriate, so I'm adding it to the talk page for discussion and approval. I would like to add up a little bit of this bug. You can still fire the bazooka while taunting too, like how they did on the very end of the video you gave us. But the only thing that made it not exploited is because most players (including me) are scared of misfires and take actions to prevent misfiring. I assume you can say that there are lots of bugs with misfiring in the Bugs section. These bugs NEEDS to be fixed, Valve. :/ Xierra 03:26, 3 July 2012 (PDT)
