Level 16?

I have one which is level 49, I think level isn't fixed.-Themokey 20:18, 12 March 2013 (PDT)

Voice Clips

Any chance that the Ap-Sap sound clips are going to be uploaded? Painted Tyrant's Helm 803020.png 21:16, 12 March 2013 (PDT)

Just swipe them out of the gcf files yourself using GCFScape. It's team fortress 2 content.gcf/tf/sound/vo/items/wheatley_sapper/*. It's ten minutes of Wheatly rambling.--Henke37 21:44, 12 March 2013 (PDT)
Guess I'll do it myself then. Painted Tyrant's Helm 803020.png 21:45, 12 March 2013 (PDT)

other players

Can other players hear him talking while he's in your hand? Or is it on the owner's end only? I ask around when I use mine but nobody answers.. :/ Redjarman 03:32, 13 March 2013 (PDT)

Others can hear, but not as clearly or loudly as he sounds to the user. Painted Tyrant's Helm 803020.png 07:13, 13 March 2013 (PDT)
After trying on a few different servers and asking around, it seems others can hear him sapping, but not his idle chatter or anything else. Redjarman 10:02, 14 March 2013 (PDT)

Trying it out offline?

I heard somewhere that we can modify the item schema to add this item (or any other items) to our backpack offline. Can anyone tell me exactly how to do it? I really want to try this thing out. Yapp 22:07, 13 March 2013 (PDT)

There is no way to add this or any item to your backpack besides trading or opening the Box. What I think you mean is using it on the itemtest map. To do that, load the itemtest map from the console, hit F7 to open the itemtest GUI and select Ap-Sap from the list of weapons for the Spy. Click "Apply test items" and you and a Spy bot will spawn with the Ap-Sap. Or at least, that's how it is for most weapons. I'm not sure if it works with PDAs... - RedXM 17:02, 14 March 2013 (PDT)
Tested it out. Sappers don't work on itemtest. Well that's too bad. But I did some snooping around on the wiki and found some interesting info about a 'customized item schema'. Can somebody elaborate on this? Yapp 18:49, 14 March 2013 (PDT)

Reason for squareness

If you look at actual wheatley and then sapper wheatley, it seems as though the outer shell has been removed, leaving the *not sure but think is handles*, the eyeball and the shell around it, and the inner body. true or false? and anyone notice this yet? Weirdduder10 17:32, 14 March 2013 (PDT)

False Bug?

Why the Ap-Sap not being nameable or describable counts as a bug? - Tommy (Kentaro2000) 06:28, 21 March 2013 (PDT)

Idk, maybe valve didn't set it to nameable... User Hinaomi Hinaomi-sig.png Rikka Takanashi (talk) • (contributions) 06:29, 21 March 2013 (PDT)

Screenshot

On the wiki page, there is a screenshot of the silhouette shows that the Ap-Sap can be attached to buildings, and the caption says to notice the eye widening, yet there is no eye widening in the screenshot. Maybe have two screenshots side by side? PolishSnipa 12:18, 23 April 2013 (PDT)

I can see it just fine. Its on the silhouette. Not in the hand. Ashes 12:20, 23 April 2013 (PDT)
