Name Change?

I'm not sure what the protocol is for suggesting name changes, or if that sort of thing is even possible after an item has been officially released, but I think these should be renamed the Fists of Steel for Boxing or something similar, so that the acronym F.S.B. can be used, which is more in line with the K.G.B. and G.R.U. gloves. - Jjafargi 21:05, 18 December 2010 (UTC)

F.o.s. fists of steel? Was that so hard? Tryer 04:09, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
But F.O.S. does not mean anything. K.G.B. and G.R.U. were both government organizations in Soviet Russia. Although, granted, the F.S.B. is post-Soviet era, so the name might not fit well with the established TF2 time frame. - Jjafargi 18:43, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
That would be far too confusing for people, we use the name that is shown in-game for the item. If you wish to make a redirect, go ahead, but don't change the name of the item. --User Firestorm Flame.png Firestorm 18:52, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
Of course, I did not mean to randomly change the name of the article to something that does not exist in-game. I mean it would be cool if the in-game name changed to something that would fit a Soviet acronym like the first two gloves. But F.S.B. is too modern anyway, so I suppose the point is rather moot. - Jjafargi 19:10, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

We need to find something out

By ranged attack is it meant bullets or just projectiles? Tryer 04:10, 19 December 2010 (UTC)

It applies to just about everything that isnt melee, least in my experience with them. Fire dmg, explosive dmg, sentry dmg, etc. Mikau 06:12, 19 December 2010 (UTC)
I'm not sure if you are correct about that Mikau, but I'm happy to take your word for it as I do not have the item in question :). As such, I have left that section in the description and have only reworded it. Additional confirmation from multiple sources would be desirable for obvious reasons, however.
