Hello, HuevoFrito!

Welcome to the Official Team Fortress Wiki!

Here are a few links to get you started:

  • If you're not too familiar with editing wikis, you might like to start with Help:Editing.
  • If you already are familiar with wikiediting, you might want to try Help:Style guide.
  • Recent Changes will let you see others' contributions as they happen.
    • To make Recent Changes more useful for all users, remember to provide an edit summary in the "Summary" field before you save your changes.
    • You can set the wiki to prompt you for a summary in your preferences.
  • When posting on an article's Talk page you should add four tilde symbols or ~~~~ onto the end.
    • This will add a signature and timestamp to your comment so others can easily tell who posted it.
    • Any new sections on an article's Talk page should be added to the bottom of the page and not to the top.
    • When editing normal article pages, don't sign your contributions.
    • You can use the Signature Icon.png button in the editing toolbar to quickly add a signature.
  • If you have any questions or need any help, please feel free to leave a message for a staff member.
  • If you have trouble with anything on the wiki or you're not sure about a specific topic, feel free to join the IRC.
  • You can also customize your user page if you like.
    • When uploading images for use on your user page, please add the prefix User HuevoFrito to the file's name.
    • Additionally, if you would like to add any self-made content to the wiki, please do so by adding the prefix User:HuevoFrito/ to the page title when you create the page.

Once again, welcome to the Team Fortress Wiki!

Hi HuevoFrito,

Regarding your recent edit:

I'd like to suggest the use of the string {{item link|ENGLISH NAME}}, when translating item names with links.

Using the Spanish (/es) section as an example:

  • If you use {{item link|Buff Banner}}, the wiki will automatically translate the name into Estandarte de Ánimo.
    • But if you want to translate just the text name, you can use {{item name|ENGLISH NAME}}.

Same rule applies for updates:

  • {{update link|ENGLISH NAME}}
  • {{update name|ENGLISH NAME}}

For further information, I recommend you on reading these articles about translation swtiching and language translation.

Thanks for your contributions, every help is appreciated!

Traducciones 2

Hola HuevoFrito,

En referencia a esto, quiero hacer algunas observaciones.

1)

  • Si quieres enlazar artículos en español de Wikipedia, ten en mente de agregar :es después del string [[w: y luego el título en ESPAÑOL.
    • Por ejemplo, en como puedes ver en el artículo que corregí: [[w:es:Gabardina (prenda)|gabardina]]

2)

  • A igual que los nombres de los objetos, los nombres de los estilos también deben ser colocados con el string {{item name|XXX}}
    • Ejemplo, {{item name|Turtleneck}} y {{item name|Singlet}}

3)

  • El formato utilizado en esta wiki para numerar (como parches, por ejemplo), es n.° N. Siendo N el número correspondiente.
    • Ejemplo: {{Patch name|7|12|2023}} n.° 1 ({{update link|Summer 2023}})

4)

  • Y por último, por favor no te olvides de las tildes al escribir artículos, gramática en esta wiki es muy importante.
  • Así como también colocar el string {{item name|XXX}} al traducir el nombre de objetos al español.
    • Ejemplo: {{item link|Cleaner's Cap}}
