Another Dove Bug in Replay

I was recording a replay a few days ago and noticed something odd with the doves - they seemed to come out twice, first at normal speed, and then very, very slowly. [1] I did it several times to test, and it happened every single time. Anyone else having this issue? -- Jokerine 03:54, 7 September 2011 (PDT)

Was anyone able to find out if the Meet the Medic taunt can be uncrated like Schadenfreude? ~ Faint of Heart ~ 12:54, 26 June 2011 (PDT)

This article is redirected from Meet the Medic (taunt) in the {{ToolNav}} because capital T. Someone outta fix that, it looks a little shabby. SilverHammer 17:33, 26 June 2011 (PDT)

Taunting in Medieval

i think its worth noting that taunting with the Amputator in Medieval mode (sense the medic cant take the medigun out the amputator stays out) gives it's healing effects out to friendly players while doing this tuant.--Awesome Weegee 18:14, 3 July 2011 (PDT)

cancel that its worded wierd so its kind of hard to find that in the article--Awesome Weegee 18:15, 3 July 2011 (PDT)

Missing picture

I think a picture of Medic performing the taunt animation itself should be added. --SandeProElite 08:11, 10 July 2011 (PDT)

Isnt that already in the page? Dr. Blutengott 18:42, 25 July 2011 (PDT)

Dove Trapping

You can trap the doves produced by this taunt in some of the spawn doors. An example video is shown below. The preceding unsigned comment was added by Jetti (talk) • (contribs)

Well, yes. They're little objects that slowly fly up, if you get them under a roof or something, they're gonna get stuck. It's not really noteworthy. --SilverHammer 10:36, 24 July 2011 (PDT)

Dove shield?

I'm not 100% sure, but this has happened to me once or twice that I use the taunt, and a dove kinda intercepts a machina shot. Is this the machina trail being stopped by the dove or the dove stopping the bullet? Nibelhim 06:45, 27 September 2011 (PDT)

Is it droppable?

Just curious, since the high five taunt can drop, does anyone know if this and Schadenfreude drop now too? Evang7 01:56, 14 October 2011 (PDT)

I believe this article should be renamed. It is not consistent with how it is named in-game. In Team Fortress 2 it's called "Taunt: Meet the Medic" or "Meet the Medic Taunt". To keep the official-ness of the Wiki, we really should name our articles correctly. This may also prevent people from searching the wrong name. Sgt Hailfire 08:32, 10 November 2011 (PST)

Pictogram plus.png Agree I think you're right, renaming it to "Taunt: Meet the Medic" would do alot better than the current title. That's also my opinion. That goes for every other taunt article aswell of course. As for those searching a wrong name, there's endless redirects to direct them to the correct place :P! Pictogram plus.png Agree "Taunt: Meet the medic" is the same name as in-game. So it's easier to remember for me. Hinaomi 09:13, 10 November 2011 (PST)
Pictogram info.png Info I think the reason the article isn't named 'Taunt:Meet the Medic' is because Mediawiki would think the article is named Meet the Medic and is in the 'Taunt' namespace.
Pictogram comment.png Comment Oh right, I didn't think of that. Kinda like this discussion page is in the 'Talk' namespace. Yet, it would be very awesome if there was a way to change it to that name, ignoring Mediawiki thinking it's another namespace. I'm not pro enough to say if that's possible tho. Pictogram comment.png Comment Would it be possible to use the {{DISPLAYTITLE: }} function to change the name of the page, without the colon messing up the namespace? Then we could make Taunt: Meet the Medic a redirect page and it shouldn't cause any problems. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 13:08, 10 November 2011 (PST)

Doves Removed

I've been noticing that the doves haven't been coming. Does anyone know the date that this was patched? Soulfuric (talk) 19:34, 3 January 2014 (PST)
