Strontium Stove Pipe

Hey there, just doing this here to clarify why I did that original undo of your edit. I accept that the alpha channel of the item is set up for paint, but the VMT isn't, and I believe that's what matters when it comes to how the original unused content note was worded. The way it was originally worded on the page made it sound like Valve just didn't enable the paintability in the schema, rather than it not being enabled in the VMT. How it is now seems to be fine, though, unless someone else wants to reword it. Sorry if there was any confusion about it, and I hope you understand all this. --Omolong (talk) 14:24, 11 September 2013 (PDT)

Yeah, I was confused about that. Thanks for the explanation.  :) -- EArkham (talk) 07:57, 12 September 2013 (PDT)
Well, I just now noticed that another user reverted it anyway later that day, but I'm tired of fighting over such a minor change. EArkham (talk) 13:02, 30 September 2013 (PDT)

Regarding your real name being added on this Wiki

I can understand and respect your need for privacy, however the problem seems to be that your name is being added by different people, all of who are getting the names from outside the Wiki. I can help by asking people not to add your real name via their talk pages, but unless it's removed from all those outside sources, it's mainly remedial in nature, they'll keep adding it as long as they can find your name on the internet. I can also try to add notices to items and maps where you're credited as a contributor, if you think it will help. --User LordKelvin Signature.png LordKelvin 09:46, 19 December 2015 (PST)

Yeah, I've been removing those outside sources as I've found and/or remembered them. I think most of them were from tf2maps where I used to specifically ask to be credited with my name, and I think I've cleaned out most of those now. Atm, it's really only one troll that's caused privacy problems, so it's really just a preventative issue. I appreciate the offer, but I don't think notices are necessary as that'd just draw more attention to it... changing them as we find them should be just fine. Thanks!
