I noticed that the third degree in the demonstration video only used the first kill icon and never used the second, I assume the second kill icon is for when the chain kill happens but it's bugged to now work as of right now. Can some one confirm?[[User:Nintyuk|Nintyuk]] 13:40, 18 December 2011 (PST)

:Yep, it never uses the second kill icon, I tested it in an actual match. I think it should be listed as either a bug, or simply just unused content. -- AxL 16:48, 20 December 2011 (PST)

I don't know if this stuff's already been tested, but not added to the page, but I'm curious how damage bonuses and resistances work with the Third Degree. For example, if a heavy is being healed and has the Fists of Steel out when being struck, does his medic take the doubled damage or regular damage. What about the other way (patient has FoS out but pyro hits medic the instead)? Does the heavy take the extra damage still? Does the medic take any extra damage? Square Mile Radius?

Radius can't be measured in square miles because square miles measure area, not distance. If it was just square miles or just mile radius it would work. should I add a note about this? Grug 17:07, 16 December 2011 (PST)

It doesn't technically make sense, but it's just a saying, so not really noteworthy. » Cooper Kid (blether) • (contreebs) 17:51, 16 December 2011 (PST)
I have never heard anyone say "Square mile radius". It's always "2 mile radius" or the like. Grug 18:02, 16 December 2011 (PST)

Self-Illum

Does the white-hot coil have self-illum on it? If so, it should be linked to like all of the other articles about items with self-illum and jigglebones. I can't get in-game to test it right now, but I might as well coerce one of you guys to do it. -- Psychopath User Psychopath avatar.png 08:04, 18 December 2011 (PST)

Yeah, it's Self Illum Kardia Munr 21:44, 19 December 2011 (PST)

Yep, it never uses the second kill icon, I tested it in an actual match. I think it should be listed as either a bug, or simply just unused content. -- AxL 16:48, 20 December 2011 (PST)

Damage Resistances and Bonuses

I don't know if this stuff's already been tested, but not added to the page, but I'm curious how damage bonuses and resistances work with the Third Degree. For example, if a heavy is being healed and has the Fists of Steel out when being struck, does his medic take the doubled damage or regular damage. What about the other way (patient has FoS out but pyro hits medic the instead)? Does the heavy take the extra damage still? Does the medic take any extra damage? Yeef 18:00, 18 December 2011 (PST)
