: OK, but why not? I did this because when a new update comes out people often go to the wiki but see that it's not there (it used to be automated but that broke...) - which is why I focused on getting it up first and then adding QOL stuff like the jumping between patches. But if there is a particular reason it all needs to be there on the first edit (caching maybe?), then I will stop. Please let me know. Yes, those TF2Maps and Tip of the Hats medals were undocumented, because those are not tournament medals, as were noted in the patch notes. Those were community medals, which are for community events that aren't tournaments. They were slipped in with the tournament medals, but not noted as community medals. Please don't get rid of notes for community medals in the future, unless specified as community medals. -[[User:ThatHatGuy|ThatHatGuy]] ([[User talk:ThatHatGuy|talk]]) 01:46, 24 September 2019 (UTC)

Patch pages

Hi there,

When making patch pages, you should immediately include the {{Patch layout}}, rather than making a plaintext page and then adding the template.

OK, but why not? I did this because when a new update comes out people often go to the wiki but see that it's not there (it used to be automated but that broke...) - which is why I focused on getting it up first and then adding QOL stuff like the jumping between patches. It's just more unnecessary edits. If it can be done in one edit, it should be done in one edit. It also comes off you quickly claiming the edit for yourself and then making formatting the page. Grabbing the formatting takes only a min or so, having no page is preferred to having a badly-made one.
